    2024 Corvette Test Drive

I'm thinking about buying a new 2024 Corvette to replace my '95 (234,000 miles) and was able to find a Chevy dealer with a used 2023 2LT vette. $77K, 8,000 miles. The drive was a surprise. I figured the rear engine noise might be annoying but it was totally quiet! The car was perfect.

    Best Non-alcoholic Beers

I have to take a break from alcohol since it doesn't go well with certain non-cholesterol meds. But I did find a few decent non-alcoholic beers including Guinness, Weihenstephaner, and Corona. Good taste and head on each; maybe I'll cheat occasionally for added kick.

    RIP Billy Packer

Great sportscaster. Worked with Dick Enberg (“Oh, my!”), Gary Bender, Curt Gowdy, etc. At a Georgetown-Villanova game, referred to Allen Iverson as a “tough monkey”. He apologized for it, but Iverson said he was not bothered by it. I recall the comment as “That little money can play!”.
