I don't quite know how we're getting there, but I think this team is making it slightly apparent that they intend to at least see what they have in Wedgwood
I think he's going to get a real shot at the throne before anyone else does.
I know I very rarely post but can we please not have zajac in it.... He was miserable this year. Earn his way into that shit. I vote Elias Greene or even henrique
:omg: that's DEVS30RKO's music!
Okay sorry I had to.
On point the one key w that article is do you buy into us being worse next year than now? Or even two years. We're picking in potential franchise player range and already have a wealth of D prospects.
I gotta say I do not...
For those saying we're doing 'nothing' or Lou is doing 'nothing', what go you make of the 29 other teams who've done nothing? Where a player goes and when they sign that deal is their choice. Honestly, much has been made of semin wanting to go somewhere comfortable.... Other Russians will weigh...
Shocked at the bernier hate. SHOCKED.
The guy was fantastic for us in the role he played. If you want to break up the line he was a part of and wipe all his play off the table over the .25 seconds it took him to take a horrible penalty you're all nuts.
It was a penalty. It was a major. But...
I know I'm late, and haven't been around much ( I don't like posting in the playoffs I'm too superstitious)
But following this season, through every up, down, success, to painful painful loss (I cried like a baby from the second the kings pocketed the empty net, waited for our boys to get...
You mean Elliott :p
And while he had a hell of a year he looked horrible in that series.
Let's not kid ourselves the kings deserve to be here.
However I agree that I just wasn't that afraid of Vancouver and once Schneider was in net that series was a lot closer.
St Louis I still think is...
Isles I would typically agree w you at least on a lot of things however by true definition the trap is a very very passive 1-2-2 where you really only have one forechecker, whos not all that aggressive.
The devils ran 2 highly aggressive forecheckers on the puck at almost all times.
The only...
Volchenkov is always banged up and always needs the rest. Him playing is something I don't worry about. You'll have to break his neck to keep him from suiting up in the playoffs.
Zids is my only worry. But I got the vibe had game 7 he wouldn't have left the bench
Outside of game 5, he was the flyers best player in the series hands down. I was kinda shocked holmgren had the balls to say his job is to stop pucks and he didn't do that. This isn't comedy central ( or however it went)
He was the only guy to show up in that series
personally i think both teams are almost one in the same.
both teams are defense first.
both block a ridiculous amount of shots, and both clog the neutral zone. hell there was even a point towards the end of the game last night where i saw washington literally drop 5 into the neutral zone...
no hate to the rangers (despite how much i actually hate them)
but seeing as to how the two teams have played in the series, i think the educated guess is the caps.
that said, both teams will have now played 2 straight 7 game series and will only have a days rest. we need to jump all over...
