Having lived in Sd for over 15 years, I'm still a huge Padres fan (go figure). Sure they had an owner that would spend money----what they've needed for decades is a GM that would spend it in the right places.
Yet in the most recent poll over half the teams in it have 3 or 4 losses. If ND is even considered for a major bowl look at the losses----same with LSU. Even if LSU wins over Georgia, do we really need a 3-loss team in the CFP? Look at OSU after Michigan throttled them. Bounced down only to...

Translate your statement into English.....wait never mind I shouldn't bother braindead posters like you because you don't deserve any response. My bad.

And you have to factor in, Frost's system was only at UCF for two years. IMO the offense and defense would only have been better next year.
If one recalls the old Nebraska offenses had the lines to literally pulverize the oppositions defense and our defenses were by and large...
-------
TBH Frost would have never taken the Florida SP legacy hanging over the Florida program anyway. Your program hasn't really learned it's lesson yet anyway
------
I get where you're coming from but you have to keep in mind a couple of things. Did Frost inherit a seasoned team when he came to UCF? OR was it a bunch of freshman & sophomores? Did he get to recruit two full years OR was it more like one year plus (as in very little the first year)...

It's a shame they couldn't coach heart. I truly thought Riley and company had the ability to take "average" recruits and coach them up. Not so Heart had really nothing to do with it. Being able to coach athletes in this environment was the problem. Major fail
---------
That and most sports media have never liked and still don't like Nebraska. Florida afires a coach and the media especially ESPN was all over it. Nebraska fires Riley barely a blurb on page 3

I'm guessing (and it is a guess) that Florida has more issues than what we've been led to believe. While Chip Kelly said all the right things about his Florida interview, it just didn't ring completely straightforward honest.
I think Kelly wanted complete control of the football...
-------
The pros don't ever give you the control that college does---just ask Jim Harbaugh. BOTH the Arizona teams may be in the hunt for a new HC after next year BUT he'd be better off going with CAL now assuming the money's right
---------
I'll be the first to admit at this point no one knows where Kelly will go (except no more pro), so anything anyone including me is a crapshoot. I also admit he could sit on his ass for a year or two and pick and choose.
But the man DOES have something to prove. he screwed up big...

Dykes was pulling in almost 3 million at Cal. Kelly made about 3.5 plus bonuses at Oregon his last year there. The difference isn't that unsurmountable.
