    2023 Spring Training Thread

Yea I figured we would get an update like this. I just dont care at all about what I see from him this spring. He is gonna have some good looking swings that get people excited but none of that matters once real games start and he has deal with major league pitching and the mental hurdles of...

    Love watching these young QB's.

IIRC the throw was poor either way which led to the tip. Regardless a player like Diggs will tell you he needs to catch that

    Love watching these young QB's.

The offense is pretty much the same as it has been for years. I dont see that Purdy has added much more then Jimmy at this point other then maybe mobility? Its still scheme your studs in space (CMC, Kittle, Deebo) and let the YAC take over. Nothing wrong with that though when you have a...

    Niners at Eagles...why not start?

Key is gonna be whether the eagles can run it. If they can they should take this

    Love watching these young QB's.

Purdy got away with some stinky throws for sure. Specifically the INT Diggs should have had and also that big pass to Kittle was way off target but Kittle made a ridiculous play. Thankfully for him his opponent was worse

All 4 AFC Teams deserve to be where they are

Yea and i dont think anyone is surprised the Giants won. You could maybe argue the Chargers but as long as they keep doing Charger things they deserve nothing.

    Kirk Cousins is a loser.

Yea I think if you have lots of talent elsewhere you can win with Kirk but i don't see the roster as strong enough to overcome what he cant do. It seemed like a stronger roster a couple of years ago so they probably missed the window with him as the QB.

All 4 AFC Teams deserve to be where they are

TBH the final 8 is probably what it should be.

    Kirk Cousins is a loser.

I wouldnt say Kirk Cousins is a loser. I would say Kirk Cousins is Kirk Cousins. Just depends on when the Vikings choose to see that or will continue to be ok with it.

    Seattle Mariners 2022-2023 Offseason Thread

I said what i needed to last week. The 3 phases of the offseason are Hope, Annoyed and Acceptance. I have now moved passed annoyed to acceptance. There's no use beating a dead horse anymore. Moran is just fodder and i think its ok depth piece as oppose to guys like Steven Souza or Mike Ford.

Dont hate this depth signing. He was bad last year but if he reverts to his previous years then hes useful

    Mass Casualty Monday

Yea they should have had a lot more playoff success. You can say some of those losses were bad luck but again you lost with Drew Brees when those teams had a basically retired Hasselbeck, Case Keenum and Jared Goff.

    Mass Casualty Monday

I can. Similar to Sean Payton, once it gets tough and cap hell cant be pushed back much further he's bolting.

    Mass Casualty Monday

I was wondering if anyone else thought this. He won 1 SB over 10 years ago and had 15 years with a HOF QB. And once that QB was gone and the cap hell finally caught up he bolted. If you wanna say he's a solid coach then sure but I am giving up a 1st rounder plus to acquire him. He's...

    Something different-One & dones in this year's play-offs.

Ravens, Seahawks and Dolphins seem like safeish bets to go home. The other 3 games are more of the toss ups.

Soggy Dream Come True for NFL in AFC

I mean i see nothing wrong with what you said. I by no means believe in him as a consistent thrower and the ravens seem to offer him a very sizable deal that he turned down. Again I agree with both sides. If I'm the Ravens i probably dont want to pay him top dollar. It could easily turn...

    Mariners Sign Pollock...No Joke

ehhh i wouldnt necessarily say that but they had to do something else there and it seems like the Pirates asking price is too high for now. Possibly can revisit in the summer im sure

    Lovie Smith's Gift to Chicago

Chicago would be crazy not to trade that pick unless they are really interest in moving on from Fields.

I cant really blame either side. Weird situation

Soggy Dream Come True for NFL in AFC

Probably not. Honestly i dont care what's at stake Tua really shouldnt be seeing the field this postseason after his second concussion in a short period of time. Lamar on the other hand, dont know if he sees the field either. Dont know if its the injury or a business decision tho

Game Thread: WEEK 18 Final chance to get in

i mean at somepoint you would think they want to get a look at him. Dont they need to decide on the option this year?

    Mariners Sign Pollock...No Joke

This is basically where I am at. Glass half full is that it allows you to not give up on Kelenic yet and still give him every chance to succeed vs RHP only. Plus the AL West has alot of lefties (Valdez, Perez, Heaney, Irvin, Tyler Anderson, Sandoval, Suarez) so it doesnt hurt to have another...

    Seattle Mariners 2022-2023 Offseason Thread

i am so damn tired of having the same conversations every winter. Whether they are coming off a 90 win or a 90 loss season its all the same. They do the minimum required. Its like my kid wondering why I am disappointed if she were to consistently gets C's on all of her work...

    Non Mariners Offseason Moves

https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2023/01/brewers-wade-miley-in-agreement-on-one-year-deal.html The main significance of this move is that it means the Mariners are officially dead last in free agent spending. Great work guys
