Monty has never done a good job without Chris Paul. So, sure, a different, very specific situation. He’s just not a good, modern head coach. And recent articles have suggested he may be getting the boot. That doesn’t mean that Weaver will stay though. After this abomination it could be time to...

I don’t buy either of those reasons. I think it is because the Bucks are forgotten. The Celtics have run away with the conference, so they haven’t been in consideration for the top seed and besides their championship run they have ‘disappointed’ in the playoffs.
Oh, and @buckalis
Not as fast as the Lions. We had two all time greats in Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson quit football while still at the peak of their game because, well, the Lions.

I was going to go Bo Jackson since he was amazing in both sports. But I have a strong suspicion that some of that was due to steroids and it would just catch up to him in some other form.
So, I’m going to stick with the Pistons and say Grant Hill, though also would love to see an injury free...

Fairly sure since at on point they had a sit down with him to force him to start Ivey over Hayes. But it is a fair question because he has been so unbelievably bad that anyone walking in off the street could actually have better results.

Fuckin’ Celtics fans
I did start my NBA fandom in So Cal as a Lakers fan and moved to the Pistons when I finally settled in Michigan. So the Celtics have always been that hated (in a great adversary way) franchise.
Not at all. The only flaw in the system would be that she is a Michigan fan and would recognize former players. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been an issue with superstars.
After watching what Monty Williams has done with the Pistons this year I give absolutely no weight to the COY award. And even if Brown has become a good coach with the Kings it doesn’t mean he was a good coach when he coached LeBron.
