Question - if MLB rule changes are tested in the minors, why are uniform changes? Seems stupid to just thrust a completely different material onto established MLBers...

Sanders clearly caught the ball with both feet on the ground, turned to run, then got popped. Ball comes out, Bolton picks it up and runs it in for his second defensive TD of the game... I see people complaining about a stupid holding call, but this reversal takes the cake.

An odd on-the-fiield change this year is the widening of the bases from 15 inches to 18 inches. (Almost 100 extra square inches).
This seems like they weirdest - and most unnecessary change thus season. Sure, it may help a few people get a couple extra stolen bases, and it might help with...
