Robinson had 6.1 Yards per carry last year. Only 19 receptions but a whopping 16.5 yards per catch. 4.41 40 time.
Gibbs also had 6.1 Yards per carry last year, 44 receptions at 10.1 yards per catch. 4.36 40 time.
Bijan is a bit bigger than Gibbs. Generally considered the better prospect...
Picking last and hosting the draft. Good times. Last year was an abnormally deep draft and this year's might be a bit weaker but there are a number of prospects that could fit what the Chiefs are looking for.
I think the most obvious position group in rd1 that fits the Chiefs profile is OT...
S tier: Buffalo Bills
#1 DVOA on defense, #2 DVOA on offense. Josh Allen. Von Miller. A little banged up but if healthy they'll be able to pass on anyone and defend the pass against everyone. Probably only losing if they get beat up in the trenches and lose possessions due to turnovers. Already...
Trent McDuffie. Lance Zierlein's comp is Jaire Alexander so the expectations are high with him. I remember looking at Jaire coming out and he was a boom/bust type of prospect. Really scrappy, really confident, really good mover. Reminded me of Cortland Finnegan but Jaire is definitely better...
There are about half a dozen players that I've seen in the draft that are pretty polarizing and Hamilton seems to be the top of the list.
I'm curious to see what people think on here. Is he one of the best players in the draft? Is he the next Aaron Curry? Would you want your team drafting...
Man, there were so many issues with this year's game awards. The most obvious of which is that it felt too corporate. Categories for Best Game of ___ were sponsored. Teaser trailers were shown of games that were already known which at some point are just commercials. You even had Metroid Dread...
So now to the offseason.
Round 1: Pick 31
Round 2: Pick 63
Round 3: Pick 95
Round 4: Pick 127
Round 5: Pick 159
Round 6: None
Round 7: Pick 223
Not a ton of draft stock there but still enough picks to work with. Grabbing these team needs from CBS:
Biggest offseason needs
Interior...
I guess since we are having a season after all I'll throw in some of my thoughts.
1) Chiefs leadership and media probably needed to step up a little more in the offseason with regards to where the team name is, where the stance is with BLM, etc. Not a good look for the Chiefs Kingdom if thats...
I figure a list like this is pretty good to share good games that you've played. I mostly played 360, PS4 and PC for the decade so I don't have any Nintendo games.
Best Action-Adventure: Witcher 3
Runner Up: Spider-Man (PS4)
Best Tactical Game: X-Com 2: War of the Chosen
Runner Up: Divinity...
-First NLCS appearance for Washington.
-Rematch of a very intense 2012 NLDS where the Cardinals won Game 5 with a huge late inning comeback. Adam Wainwright was actually the pitcher in that Game 5 and Washington was all over him early.
-Stausburg didn't play in that NLDS. He is ready for this...
It looks like we finally have a Borderlands 3 confirmation.
It looks like what you'd expect it to look like, tbh. I think they've mentioned that its been in the works for about five years.
There is also an HD 4k remake of the original Borderlands that is 4 player co-op.
So the Chiefs are entering defensive rebuild draft 2.0 here in 2019. Team needs appear to be CB, S, Pass Rusher, 4-3 LB. I'm thinking Chiefs are in a decent spot to do BPA in rd1 and then start hitting the needs with rd2 and rd3.
Prospect thoughts:
Brian Burns - Edge. Fits the Dee Ford mold...
Well, at least we don't have to worry about anyone stealing this coordinator after a season or two. I think its fair to say at this point that Spags is probably just going to be a yes-man subordinate to Reid.
So whats this mean?
Spags generally likes freak athletes at the DE spot to pin their...
Far Cry New Dawn, Rage 2, The Outer Worlds, Metro Exodus, Division 2, Wastleland 3, Doom Eternal, World War Z, Days Gone, Last of Us 2....
There is no way I'm playing all of these games. Heck, there are probably a dozen other games I'm missing from the Apocalypse settings list.
Does this much...
Murphy's Law game against South Carolina this week with the rain, pick 6, players not playing, bad D, big run called back, etc. but maybe that makes up for his one win (Arkansas, if you remember) basically being the exact opposite. Purdue has a chance to bounce back this year and make it 2 wins...
Jags, @Patriots, Bengals.
The Chiefs go 2-1 here and they have to feel ecstatic. I think even 1-2 keeps them in the playoff hunt as long as they stay healthy.
Jags D is going to be the biggest test Mahomes gets all year. Bortles actually hasn't been that bad this year, either.
-I thought Mahomes obviously looked excellent for a rookie but what was most impressive was his decision making. He was throwing it to a lot of fairly open players. His 11.65 YPA is NUTS and 154.8 QBR, 6 TDS, 82% completion. We might not see another performance like that in his whole career but...
Chiefs get a big 'road' win by making a lot of big plays. Special teams and Hill showed up as the Chargers went all-in on stopping the run and the Chiefs were able to get Mahomes going. Rivers could get whatever he wanted in the passing game against the Chiefs awful pass defense.
Chiefs still...
Call of Duty is no longer going to be a twitch shooter it seems.
According to people who play the beta, the game seems to be based around a slower time to kill. This puts it more in line with Rainbow 6 Siege, vanilla Destiny 2 PVP, Overwatch and most importantly Fortnite.
It also looks like...
Figured we needed an updated thread title for this season now that the Cardinals are officially in the Wild Card and maybe Division Race.
Cards pounced on some very bad defense by the Brewers and used their team speed to score 7 runs with Matt Carpenter being in a cold streak and Jose Martinez...
#46 Breeland Speaks - 'DT' Ole Miss
40: 4.87
10 yd Split: 1.65
3 cone: 7.63
Sparq: 67.5%
Mayock's take: "Teams value his inside-out versatility. I think he can play base end but kick inside on interior sub-packages. He’s got some juice. He’s physical, he’s tough, he’s relentless."
#75 -...
So now that we're at the end of the year, what do you have as your favorites?
1. Dunkirk
2. The Last Jedi
3. Logan Lucky
4. Darkest Hour
5. Beauty and the Beast
HM: Wonder Woman, Logan
Scout: Sidney Jones could slide as many as two rounds in draft
Top 20 talent dealing with a torn Achilles that pretty much guarantees that he is out for the 2017 season. Possibly nagging in dealing with it longer.
I'm thinking he'll go mid to late rd3. Thats about where I see it worth taking...
