So, it may not be best ending song he ever had, but to end one of the best albums of all times...give it up for Elton (fuck you all who think his sexuality has anything to do with his great music)
Of course I'm going to post this too (from another thread) and how could anyone forget this classic, The Stones at their best. You guys should hang your head in shame, really. (I won't even get into Beethoven's classic because most of you have never heard it)
Sunrise can be beautiful, especially when you're 16 and this is the first song you hear when sweet little 16 comes knocking on your door. Oh to be that young again.
On a lighter note and in homage to the man who made this site available in the first place (he founded sportshoopla for those of you who don't know) and without him we could never have such a cool place, ghostinthemachine, this is for you and you know why dude....
So I go through nineteen pages of bullshit about space...cosmos...etc and nobody has post the ultimate song of space. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Let me introduce you to THE song about space...and time...and stars.
You know I'm always torn between what is the best Doors ending song, but it is like this...they are all good...love "The Soft Parade", "The End", and especially "Riders on the Storm" but hell, 4 hits of acid and...some good smoke...well you know
@yoga≈surfing so I'll get a lot of flak for this but "Sabotage" was Sabbath's best. Are you Satan or are you man? I'm not sure but I'll find out soon enough. It means nothing in the end.
@yoga≈surfing this is just for you...it may not mean much to others...but when it comes down to it I wish more than ever we could meet and talk music. I am not long for this world, but I had fun, hope you did too.
