Ummm, congratulations on winning the Rose Bowl (an invitational to 2 conferences neither of which Boise is a part of).
Is random strutting a duck thing?
It looks like Boise State has just sued the MWC for trying to sidestep their contract.

The 2005 Georgia loss was not fun, but the one that ripped my heart out was 2010 Nevada.
We were undefeated and top five heading to what looked like another New Years 6 game and got into a close one. Kaepernick led Nevada in a drive to score with 13 seconds left in the game to tie at 31 (still...
Well hell...if UCF and Utah, etc. can claim shared titles for undefeated seasons, I want some of that action for 2006 and 2009!
...actually no, I don't want any part of that.
I have no problem with minimum criteria as long as it's well defined. The problem is there are several moving targets to "join a better conference". Many schools without P5 status have plenty big stadiums, many that do have P5 status do not meet the minimum criteria that I have heard spouted...

I agree that the late night starts are kind of a pain...but it could be worse.
I remember a time when almost none of our games were televised.
As an East coast resident, my wife and I get to stay up past 2 am to finish a live game. Midnight sounds dreamy after that. ;)
Pretty much this. Several good options with none of them being the runaway favorite so far.
...of course, it could just be the traditional last minute reveal to keep your opponents and fans in the dark scheme...
I was a little disappointed when this one got moved to Jacksonville as I wanted to see Boise play in Tallahassee, but it should be good anyway. We'll be making that trip to FL in August. Hopefully the scheduled 2020 game in Boise will really happen as well.
I don't have a dog in this fight, but having a large population has never been much of a criteria for success, thus the name 'college town'.
Some other examples from places I have spend time in:
Georgia - Do you thing much would be happening in Athens if the university was not there?
Florida...
