Interesting. 7 of the last 10 winners have been RBs or WRs.
Stroud will win because he did something in his rookie year that only Brady and Montana have done (in their primes) over the last 50 years.
Stroud did something as a rookie that only Brady and Montana have done (in the prime of their careers) in the last 50 years. He led the league in both passing yards per game and TD/INT ratio. That's ridiculous if you think about it.
Puka had a fantastic year, but Stroud should clearly be...
As has been pointed out already...Shanahan's game plan Saturday night was horrible. CMac with 17 carries in that game was ridiculous. The 49ers were incredibly lucky to come away with the W. I know the Lions are good against the run, but CMac needs at least 20+ carries in that game. He most...
I push back against dumb comments. Saying that the 49ers are clearly the best team in the NFL when they got their asses handed to them (at their place) 3 weeks ago by the #1 seed in the AFC qualifies as a dumb comment. I think you know this though.
You make a helluva lot more sense when you "get down to the real". If you had just said this from the beginning, I wouldn't have said a thing. Maybe you were simply trolling with the other nonsense you posted though?
You actually said some pretty dumb things (probably to make yourself feel better after last night) and then used a "rematch" that hasn't even taken place yet to substantiate those "opinions" while stating that an actual game that took place 3 weeks ago shouldn't be taken into consideration...
SF definitely has the easiest path to the SB. The Lions would put up a fight against them if the game was in Detroit, but don't stand much of a chance away from home. Staying healthy over these next two games will be the 49ers' biggest challenge.
I can definitely understand why you would prefer to talk about a possible future matchup instead of an actual game that happened where the Ravens curb stomped them in there house.
Gotcha. Thought you were talking about their "run" this year.
I know this wasn't the point of your post, but the excitement and promise alone is going to do wonders for a city that is in desperate need of it. Just getting people to go back downtown is hugely beneficial.
