I'd have to concur with Innermind, My first gun purchase was a S&W model 66, .357 revolver. Easy to operate, point & shoot, easy to clean & it will shoot .38 caliber too, so cheap way to target practice.

I have had my eye on this flavor of 12 gauge shotgun for a while. Glad I found one locally... Molot VEPR 12. Stock for now, but goodies are on the way. Looks like ammo is in low supply... Although I did find multiple boxes of #4 Turkey shot that worked great for some break in shooting.
