Not sure when it all changed but when I was young kid then teen in the 80's and 90's in TX.. There was always a PAC games going on.. From UCLA, SC, UW and ASU, that were aired every weekend and seemed like a pretty big deal.
When SC had it's Carroll era, it was talked about a lot as well.. but...
yeah but you are talking about a much younger Bob Stoops who had his first big time gig over 20 years ago. Not the Bob who likes going to different golfing charity events and enjoys watching his son play TE on sat for ou.
wonder if the bowls actually want the games to take place.. very low attendance.. sure the tv money is there but outside the NY6.. bowls rely on the gate
I criticize the Big 12 a lot but they should have started labor day weekend too, but they did start the week after and have had 3 bye weeks to use to complete the 10 game season.. Texas has 3 games left along with ou and osu after this bye week. Hopefully they can play these games out because...
he said that they have exceeded the expectations getting this far into the season, from when they were envisioning this back in July, August. That they have to be greatful for the amount of games they have played thus far.. Then the postponements happened and now they are actually considering...
bro the way Covid is kicking up dust.. PAC and BIG need to get their games in ASAP. Gut feeling is the SEC is going to cancel the rest of the regular season after the commish made those remarks yesterday
Maybe but I thought he was coaching the XFL team because there is no pressure.. it's the XFL.. going to UM and knowing the expectations is a whole other animal
I actually miss posting with the sooner, mountaineers fans in the Big12 thread, they were all cool.. I knew I shouldn't have really engaged with that ford guy but all his talk of being superior because he isn't a t-shirt fan.. I forgot what exactly he said that made me use them not being smart...
Would you pay Jim the rest of his contract and pay the buyout for Shaw, campbell? I think you can get Campbell for around 3-3.5 a year. But I wouldn't trust Shaw at all. I'm fairly confident that Stoops is done and certain that Peterson is. Bro you don't want Neuheisel anywhere near Ann Arbor...
bro are you serious?!? You got Banned too? LOL fuck that guy
Yeah bro I think all the ratings took hits.. I didn't watch the ND/CLemson game but I heard that they cut away for the Biden speech as well.
i missed half of the first qtr of the UT game as well..I had to pick up pizzas for my daughter and her friends sleep over.. WHen I got back and started the game off the DVR.. it was ABC News special, calling Bidens win smh
I hear the money is too big but I don't think ESPN is really raking in dough with the season being played so far. I actually think they are cool with trying to finish out the season but wouldn't be upset if the CFP got cancelled and not having to pay out CFP money to each school for airing it...
That's the same boat as Texas and Herman right now. There is only one elite coach out there that may or may not be available right now who is a commentator for FOX.
After that.. there's a big drop off to the next tier of coaches, all who have question marks.
Campbell-- can he recruit at an...
I'm not bashing the Pac but you would think after a long layoff, and the noon game, even if early, with two of the better teams facing off would have beaten UT/WV.. SC game was much more entertaining than the UT game as well.
Be interesting to see how they do this week with the Big12 only...
They are playing the best ball right now.. back to blowing teams out. Next week's Bedlam game is huge. They beat Gundy, again, they will be favorites to be in the CCG game and win it. That fucking sucks
Damn.. the TV ratings just aren't there for the Pac12.. SC vs ASU got beat at the noon slot by UT vs WV. Oregon vs Stanford had 1.6 mil viewers on primetime Saturday night..which ranks as the 8th most watched CFB game this past weekend.
The noon SC/ASU game was the 4th highest rated game this...
yeah i don't know about pulling it off and if they do, i have a feeling a couple conferences would opt out. So I'm gonna enjoy my Big12 playoff they got going on and hope they can finish up these last 4 weeks of play and get the CCG done as well.
wow Sexton is a witch.. I guess he got Liberty to see that column because they just gave him an extension before year 2 is even finished lol
