Nice! Never even heard of Fountain Hill honestly haha
Where'd you end up staying? What ended up being your favorite(s)? I think I've been to everything on your list... Only one I might have steered you away from is Jolly Pumpkin. But I'm not a big sour guy and I think the venue is blah...
Dude sorry been mia on sports forums during the slow season...I'm guessing you already made the trip up? GR is pretty easy to navigate so should have been able to hit all the big spots in a day no problem.
Adding:
Virginia Tech's entire basketball team. I'm pretty sure all players have been released from LOI. Wabissa Bede, Landers Nolley, & Chris Clarke have entered transfer portal. No word on Kerry Blackshear yet.
Sucks but it happens. The positive is the program is in much better shape than when he arrived. The names being thrown around for replacement are WAY better than 5 years ago.
Getting the feeling Buzz does not want to risk being below expectations
Could have stayed at Marquette indefinitely. Expectations there got pretty high after the string of Sweet 16s, and it sounds like things were taking a turn for the worse.
Chose to take on one of the worst P5 jobs in...
Yeah that's a highly likely option as well. After playing with the same guys for 3 years, he might not have much motivation to come back without them. Either way, program is looking at a couple year rebuild minimum. We stand to lose potentially every recruit + our top recruit from last season...
Could be worse. Seems like the knock is he's not a great X's & O's guy... but should be able to recruit well in the ACC. I was really not thrilled about Cronin, as I don't really want a guy that's known as 'Mick the Dick' after 5 years with a unique guy like Buzz.
Interesting being on some of...
I think the randomness of the Buzz hire spoiled our fanbase in general... five years ago we could have hired just about anyone and it would have been an improvement. Now I feel like anything outside of a wildcard hire by Whit will seem like a downgrade.
Yeah all the hype about the offense, but they looked unapproachable in the paint. I think it really threw FSU off because they're not a perimeter team. Looking forward to the Texas Tech game. No idea what to expect
Gonna miss him if he leaves. Grats on the win last night btw. FSU is a solid squad, and the Zags looked great. I was a bit judgmental of Gonzaga getting a #1 seed based on their resume, but they're definitely living up to their seed.
