Completely agree that we didn't but a bit too early to decide. And as far as the refs go the first half was old big east the second was new. I won't complain about either.
No we stayed in the rankings that year way longer than we should have. I think it was December by the time the pollsters had given up on us.
Really hope we take it to Indiana Thursday morning and keep building on it!
Out of curiosity why isn't he well liked? He's given you guys some decent years to be proud of and you're more of a football school than B-ball so it's not like the expectation is Duke level success... is it?
MU plays their exhibition against Carroll University (WI) this evening at 7pm CST. Streamable on Gomarquette.com for anybody interested in seeing you're 2019 champions play
The A10 and MWC are so weird they've both had years where they've been ranked higher than a couple of the P6 leagues and then they'll turn around with crap years like this
This is a terrible idea. Outside of the top three programs there's no programs in the WCC that all even decent mid majors let alone high majors. Meanwhile We've been the second or third best conference in the country every year.

Luckily it starts next year ;)
There's a couple decent matchups this year in MU vs Kansas, MU vs KState, Nova vs Kansas, and Creighton vs Oklahoma off the top of my head. I expect 2-2 in those four.
Per Jon Rothestein.
Pretty interesting reaction to the larger P6 conferences going to 20 games. A few teams have Home and homes scheduled so I'm curious if those will be incorporated or not
They've actually got quite the class committed. Not too different than the one that Willard sold his soul for. Remember what seton hall was before Whitehead rodrieguez and Delgado
