The Vikings tried that QB/WR/kick returner thing with some guy they drafted to try to replace Brett Favre back in the day.
It didn't work out at all, can't even remember the guy's name, but he was insanely athletic. But yeah, these guys who go from QB to other positions don't usually seem to...
I hear ya. It's a huge risk, especially when they'll need to dump a lot of draft capital to move up enough to get a QB. Looks like they're going for J.J. McCarthy.
The thing is, at this point, I've long since accepted that I'm most likely not going to live to witness a Vikings Super Bowl win...
Don't care about Cousins leaving one bit. We knew exactly what the ceiling was with him in Minnesota under this regime, as well as one regime before it. They weren't going to the Superbowl with him. It is what it is.
The trolling on the ESPN forums was half the fun of that dump, man lol. I remember Pheonix Marie had an account there advertising her work once where she posted a pic of herself holding a hand written sign with the forum name and everything, it was a wild couple of weeks lmao
The traffic on the old ESPN forums was insane back in the day, granted it let up a decent bit by the time they got rid of their forums back in 2013. Like a dozen or more of team subs actually had pretty good traffic, too.
What I'm trying to say is, as much as I love the SportsHoopla and appreciate...
I have very little confidence in the current regime's ability to draft well regardless of what they do, tbh
Imagine if they had just lost a few more games in a year that was lost early on with the Cousins injury anyway, what a different conversation we might be having right now. *sigh*
I'd be okay with it. Anything to end the stupid rumors about the Vikes supposedly trading witht the Bears for #1, or furthur speculation about Kirk. I'm ready to move on from all that, nor do I want some 2nd or 3rd rounder and hoping they work out.
Is there a good chance this wouldn't work out...
Gotta love how the media is now suddenly slobbering over Cousins after bagging on him at every turn for 6 years straight now that it's looking like he might actually leave the team this time lol
Crazy how easy it is. Just tell some diehard sports fans they might as well be watching wrastlin', and they get upset and ramble on for 9 pages about it. You don't even have to mean what you say, just make fun of their sport and they get mad. That's insanely easy trolling, right there lol
I'm not a troll. I barely even post here. I realize it's difficult to understand for someone with 113k posts in 14 years on an internet message forum, but some of us have lives outside of the internet and don't get caught up in e-drama like you do
The amount of crying this thread caused amused me lol
Even involved people speculating I am an alt of another user they apparently had e-beefs with half a decade ago or something. Just lol
I'm as skeptical as anyone, but lol at calling the Wolves #3 in the West when they've been the top ranked team of the conference by wins for most of the season so far.

Not gonna lie, that was funny lol
What are you blathering on about? I didn't say anything about race, you did. That has nothing to do with anything. I'm sorry I insulted the gremlin you find attractive.
Taylor Swift is extremely overrated herself. Are you happy now?
They weren't both guaranteed a possession on offense. If SF had scored the TD on the opening OT drive, the game would have been over, and there'd have been entire armies of people whining that they want overtime rules changed again.
Giving the ball back to Mahomes right away in OT was probably...
