Lakers Agree To Deal With Mozgov

I'd much rather having Russell than Okafor. Don't need a defensive sieve in the middle.

I like what Indiana has done so far as well. Should definitely be better than last season.

Lakers OFFICIALLY DONE until Jim Buss is gone

Being used to get max offers from their current teams. I enjoy seeing Cuban flail.

Lakers OFFICIALLY DONE until Jim Buss is gone

The two younger Buss boys seem to have some brains and desire.

I like that they locked Clarkson up for 4 years/$50mil. First, there's no potential for a perceived slight by having to go out and sign an offer from another team. Second, the contract is structured normally instead of jumping up huge in the last two years. Third, if he's continues to improve...

Easy answer for the Lakers. Mozgov fits their needs more so than Jefferson. Hopefully his knee is good. Curious to see how the contract is structured.

Mozgov huh? What a blasé signing. I hope he's healthy and not plagued by knee issues. That clearly impacted his play last season. Based on last year's cap, his salary is only about $10mil per year. I'm very curious to see how this contract is structured. Hopefully there is at least a team option...

I think he holds it against the Lakers that they didn't sign him to the preseason squad a couple of seasons ago. He has plenty of options to get his max contract other than the Lakers.

Trade away Kanter and Singler, drop the non-guaranteed contracts of Morrow and Ilyasova, and they are there. Any team looking to help them out by trading for Kanter and Singler should certainly demand a first round pick attached.

Horford slides to a more natural PF spot. The starting lineup could be Oladipo, Westbrook, Durant, Horford, and Adams. That's really good.

The minority ownership has billionaires. TWC was a boon for the Buss family though. I think there is some financial tie in with the value of the contract and the TV ratings.
