I don't think this official just yet. I've also seen he's signing for a vet minimum deal. I saw somewhere that the vet minimum is close to around 8mil Chinese Yuan. Regardless, did not see this coming.
Summer Forecast: How the West will play out in 2016-17
I think the Lakers can improve to 30 wins. That is a big jump but doable. I wouldn't be surprised though that they end up in position to hold on to that first round pick (top-3 protected) again!
I saw U2 at the Forum last summer. No issues. I think once the new football stadium and surrounding complex are built, it won't be such a bad place. Of course a block or two away and :bolt:
Can't see Ballmer moving the team to Seattle given the $2bil he paid for the team. Its value is tied in with the large market that is Los Angeles. It makes sense though to build a new arena and practice facility that he would own rather than continue leasing them. I imagine the technology in a...
This doesn't seem like a big deal to me. It would be more of a snub if he was being inducted into the HOF as NY Knick. Well, he's certainly no hall of famer. This is just an unnecessary step of his retirement.

I'm fine with the contract for Dirk. I don't begrudge athletes for getting paid what they do. I just felt like you were implying Dirk deserved his whereas Kobe did not. Seems a bit hypocritical if that's the case.
Kobe took less money in his last deal than he was getting paid before. Technically he did take a paycut, but since it was Kobe it's all negative. For Dirk it's just back pay. Nothing but roses. Shit, Kobe has made the Lakers organization way more money than Dirk has and ever will for Dallas.
Yeah, they are both making the team. They signed Zubac to a 3-year deal. He'll probably spend some time on the Defenders, but he'll certainly make the 15-man roster. The kid showed some potential in summer league.
Black's contract is non-guaranteed for next season. If they cut Black and Anthony Brown next summer and stretch Young's contract, they will have $30mil+ cap space which will be enough to sign a 10+ year max player.
Next year's draft pick is once again top-3 protected. They could have gone the...
