Heat need bench production--- Davion Mitchell had a couple nice games in the play-in.....if he can give them 15 a night and Robinson hits some 3's it could get more interesting than it should be.
Heat are playing with a lot of size right now. Give Bam his 17 pts- and dont let Herro go crazy...
i honestly wouldnt even mind seeing some of TT and Green in this series- some experience and toughness. I think they could contribute.
Thompson had 20 rebounds the other night- guy keeps getting checks.
Game 1 is a little dangerous- Mitchell has not played in over 2 weeks - now CAvs do have the rest and Miami just played 2 games. Just hope the talent carries them. Id rather have played the Hawks tbh--- Herro's size is a little bit of a tough matchup- and Bam and Mobley kind of cancel...
for sure- the problem is Mitchell rolled his like a week before the season ended. When he first went down I thought for sure high-ankle sprain and out like 6 weeks....luckily it is not that bad.
should be interesting.
I think Cleveland will roll pretty easily - but not exactly thrilled about the long layoff and not having a clue who we were going to face until just yesterday. I just hope Mitchell is recovered from the ankle.
Cavs need to improve as the post season goes on if they...
i dont blame you for wanting Miami- Cavs are way more talented and a lot tougher matchup.
id rather play the knicks than the pacers--- i was listening to the radio the other day and i forget the expert but they had a lot of good things to say about the pacers and how they kind of have a funky...
tough series against the Padres next I believe.
I hope Ortiz has gotten some of his shit figured out.
I think the offense is going to be okay. Manzardo looking good early helps a lot. They scored some runs in that first series and Jose did not really do anything. I think the bullpen will be...
Twins get swept by the Cards to open the season. Did not see that coming- esp. since I think the Twins first 3 in the rotation are pretty good- Lopez, Ryan and Ober.
Ober looked terrible.
Detroit fans- what do you guys think about Torkelson and Mize? Both were what? #1 overall picks or...
so dirty
we went in there without Mitchell and put it on their ass- winning by 20 going into the 4th and then they get pissed and play rugby....fuck them....take their losses to the cavs and shove it.
56-10.
the really bad thing add Robinson picking up his option- which he almost certainly will- and you have like 80 million for Rozier, Wiggins, Anderson and Robinson......thats dirty.
herro and bam are young enough where if you let those guys expire you do have a base to add too eventually.
remember the Norm McDonald joke about the Bullets?
-The Washington Bullets are changing their name so they are no longer associated with crime and violence.
from now on- they will be known as .....just the Bullets!
Cavs are 52-10....with 20 games left.
How many wins do you think they get to? I think they should get to 66 wins. Its been a while since a team got to that level- GSW in 16'-17' had 67 wins.
man the Cavs could not hit the broadside of a barn in the first half.....there was one possession where they got 4 offensive rebounds and just kept clanking shots. I was watching at my parents and left about half way through the 3rd and kind of gave up on the game--- was shocked when I saw...
so teams with less money just have to tear it down to the studs, suck for a few years, hope they draft well and have a 4-5 year window before they have to tear it down again and suck- just to have a chance to compete against the richest of teams. Doesnt sound so great.
Cavs have only really had one bad stretch where they went 3-5 across an 8 game span....
Still- Boston is the champ and the favorite until the Cavs can prove it in the playoffs.
23 games left for the Cavs
post all star break just beat the Celtics, Magic, Grizz, Knicks, Nets.....that is not an easy stretch to go 5-0 against.
Blazers, Bulls, Miami, Charlotte, Milwaukee up next.
as a lawyer that deals with the type of thing- Dolan dying very well might bring on new ownership.
There is no Ohio estate tax, but there is a federal one. Each person's personal federal exemption amount is $10M indexed for inflation (it is about 14 million right now). If you have a spouse...
take a step back for one year and then come back, and sign a real PG- and try and get a 3 and D wing- by then Bam and Herro will be at the apex of their careers age wise and we can see exactly what they are made out of.
the point is the Knicks clearly cant play with the big boys---- definitely not on the same tier as the Celtics and Thunder and Cavs.....not only that but, as is typical, Thibs is running the starting lineup into the ground- partly because it is not a very deep team.
The Knicks are a nice little...
maybe the Heat wait a year--- after next year Robinson, Rozier and Anderson come off the books and the free agent class is better.
Herro and Bam is pretty decent place to start- but not a lot of other talent on the Heat......Riley needs to line it up so he has room for a big contract after next...
