If you call gaining Jimmy Butler, while keeping Dragic, nothing, then you’d be correct.
Heat had Bam.
Blazers needed a center and had the assets needed to make it work.
Gobert is more then likely game planned to play more minutes, also.
When Whiteside was replaced as starter last year, he definitely was less cautious about picking up fouls.
So have many others when they’ve shared the court with LeBron and a bunch of shooters.
Nice role player, for sure, on those teams.
Nothing to do with this conversation, though.
Wiggy said big stats in losing efforts = worthless player.
If Whiteside is bad, then by his 'logic', TT should be in the G league cause the Cavs sure as hell have never won many games when TT was on the court with out LeBron.
Getting a big contract wasn't the point.
Nice spin though.
Going from a min to a max in 1 year had NEVER happened before or since.
At least 6 teams were willing to offer, if I recall correctly.
That's 20% of the league, and pretty much every team that had the cap space and needed a C.
He won't...
Umm.
They'll win way more games then the Cavs.
T.T. putting up decent stats in a going to be season mostly full of losses, so by your same standards he must suck more.
Him being a league leader didn't seem to impress you much either.
Maybe just let it go.
Blazers are quite happy with him and right now that is all that matters.
After all of this, I don't really give 2 fucks what you think of him or pretty much anything else.
You've shown your stripes here...
Every game is 1/82.
Me, stating the Heat has some nice young players, doesn't mean I think they will all have great games every night or that the Heat is going to be some 50+ win team.
