I doubt they want bad refs. There is risk to challenges.

As long as they are successful, why limit them? If refs are bad, expose them.

Can you image a player fouling out over a reversed flop call? I suppose that might make a player really think about it, but I think a better solution might be to handle it like a technical. One shot and the ball to the other team.

Perfect example of one yesterday vs LeBron. Duncan was conceding the layup, raised his hands to avoid a foul and it was still called. The stupid fouls in the same position vs Crowder have been correct. He reaches in to try to swat at the ball when he has no chance.

You are missing the point. I was talking about flopping, not that starts often get the benefit of calls. Now, to be fair, what year a player is or isn't, shouldn't dictate an official just making the correct call vs giving the benefit of the doubt to the higher profiled player. Again, maybe...

Nothing changes my opinion on my original point. When players can be disqualified from a game, or have their minutes limited because of situations that can be corrected, then they should be corrected. Maybe change the challenge rules?

I can’t think of any player that gets called for more ticky tack fouls then Duncan. I won’t apologize for any bad call that goes his way. Duncan was just an example.

The Heat missed a ton of pretty 'easy' shots last night while the Lakers (especially LeBron) were making tough ones. I like that Spoelstra stuck with Nunn vs defaulting back to his 'normal' rotation. When a loss ends your season, you need to stick with what is working at the moment.

People can, should, and will always make the same arguments for Jordan. Regardless, LeBron has had and is still having a career that should and will keep any conversation close.

We are talking about the only professional sport where players can be eliminated from a game, or have their minutes on the court severely limited because of the result of bad foul call(s). OBVIOUS flops should be penalized. Yes, you can clearly see them when watching a replay for 5 seconds...

Im talking about the theatrical, totally non contact flops. Comparing apples to oranges.

How about the KCP bobble head flop when Duncan wasn’t within 3 feet of touching him. NBA needs to do something about it. Give teams a couple flop challenges and handle it like a technical foul if they want it to end.

Not unless we win the next 2. That being said, we’ve always been 1 AD injury away from winning it all.

Duncan usually doesn’t foul him, he just gets called for fouls.

Haven’t read anything back, but how about Duncan? Earned, not given.

Im here. We had people over for the game. Guess I need to bring them back here on Sunday.

I really haven’t had anything negative to say about LeBron in as long as I can remember, but I’m ok losing without him and continuing to build this team vs winning with him.

Yep. Things tend to equal out over time. I’d love to see the Heat win a game, but regardless its been a great run, and our young players got some experience that money can’t buy.

No other way to be. I'm not saying I'm 'just happy to be here', and get swept, but once all the dust settles, win or lose, this has been one hell of a season for the Heat. Lakers have been the best team all season. Lakers have the 2 best players in the series. Heat needs intangibles to fall...

I don’t know. Leonard hasn’t player in forever, and he’s going to do something to slow down AD? I think if were talking big minutes, I’d rather see it be Kelly 0. Maybe even UD a few minutes each half just to get in his face and not have to worry about fouls. We do need to play bigger, but the...
