Yep, that same Hogan that had more receiving yards than any Bill this year, and that equaled the 4 receiving TDs of Bills' leaders Justin Hunter and Charles Clay. Is 3y/12m overpaying for that? Whaley could've put the $1.5M wasted on Reggie Bush's net negative yards towards retaining Hogan, and could've avoided spending almost $600K on Hunter. We're halfway there already...

To be fair he has Brady throwing to him in a system that only uses slot receivers. I wanted to keep him and I also disagreed with using Harvin over Hogan but isnt that more on the coach? fact is that we though Woods and Watkins were healthy that means we would be paying 4 million a year for a third WR in a mostly running offense.

3rd receiver at best? Other than Sammy Watkins, he would have been/was better or at worst equal to Robert Woods. In 2015, when they hindered his growth with Percy Harvin, I was just as upset. It's pathetic.

Anyway, I don't know what else needs to be said... we are LAST in the league as far as drafted players on the roster. LAST.

The Browns are definitely last without a doubt

I'd say it would be completely worth it. Yes we are a run first offense, but we still need to be able to pass the ball. Hogan's route running ability would have been very useful this year... either when we had a full compliment of receiver and especially when everyone got hurt.

4 million is cheap for a receiver as good as him

When you develop an under the radar talent that is showing progress, letting him leave via free agency by giving him the lowest free agent tender, then letting him go to the hatred Patriots of all teams is just lunacy IMO. The Bills do the dirty work of unearthing the prospect and breaking him in to let Tom Brady reap the benefits.

Loved him since day one.

I think until we figure out what happens to Taylor its impossible to say who we pick. If Taylor is not around they are picking the guy from Clemson or the guy from NC if he falls. If not it might be WR especially if they cant resign Woods but we also need a lot of help in the secondary. We need another CB even if Gilmore resigns and we need 2 safeties

Until they prove otherwise, I'm assuming Tyrod stays, which is what I would prefer.

Latest First-Pick (decent results). Traded down in the 3rd to pick up a 4th, and down in the 6th to pick up additional picks.

Your score is: 9714 (GRADE: B-)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 10: Jamal Adams, SS, LSU (A+)
Round 2 Pick 12: David Njoku, TE, Miami (Fla.) (A)
Round 3 Pick 16 (MINN): Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina (A-)
Round 4 Pick 15 (MINN): Will Holden, OT, Vanderbilt (B)
Round 5 Pick 12: Brendan Langley, CB, Lamar (TX) (B+)
Round 5 Pick 27: Ryan Switzer, WR, North Carolina (A-)
Round 6 Pick 23 (NYG): Charles Walker, DT, Oklahoma (A+)
Round 6 Pick 35 (LAR): Zane Gonzalez, K, Arizona State (A+)
Round 7 Pick 5 (LAR): Fish Smithson, FS, Kansas (C)

How You Matched Up:
1. Carolina Panthers - 10604
2. Atlanta Falcons - 9992
3. Los Angeles Rams - 9943
4. Denver Broncos - 9883
5. Buffalo Bills - 9714

Was tempted to draft a RB (Taquan Mizzell, Virginia) at 7.5 to get a better grade, but Smithson fits a need and is a tackling machine for a safety. Really like the Switzer pick; he could be the slot receiver the Bills have been looking for.

I think ever semi informed Bills fan would prefer that, But if we can get that guy from Clemson in the second round I say take him. Definitely not with the 10 pick though.

I would be shocked if he lasted into the 2nd round. I would be less surprised if he went top 5 honestly. If the Bills dump Tyrod and don't take a QB at #10, they either are throwing all their support behind Cardale or have already secured a free agent veteran QB before the draft IMO.

This is a fantastic draft, I can't believe the Smithson pick got such a bad grade, I've seen him in the 4th round. He would provide good depth back there and improve how fun our team names are, with all the Williams' we have on the team we could use a guy named Fish Smithson

I'd love this one as well if it was possible. No way Howard is going to make it to the 2nd round though.

Very unlikely, I agree. He has flown up the rankings since the Senior bowl and now is rated at or near the top 10.

I agree I would be shocked too considering how QB hungry a lot of teams are. That being said I would rather wait and take a project QB in the later round then take one in the first only because he won the national title.

I wouldn't say it was only because they won the national title game. He's had an exemplary career at Clemson. The high interception numbers would be my only concern.

Couple of trades down to add picks, C+ grade despite being 7th best mock in the draft. Surprised Senior got such a poor grade. As a potential Bills link, he was the 2016 recipient of the Kent Hull trophy for the best offensive lineman in the state.

Your score is: 9801 (GRADE: C+)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 10: Mike Williams, WR, Clemson (A+)
Round 2 Pick 12: TreDavious White, CB, LSU (A)
Round 3 Pick 15 (IND): Jordan Leggett, TE, Clemson (A-)
Round 4 Pick 18 (TENN): Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE, Villanova (A+)
Round 4 Pick 38 (S.F.): Rayshawn Jenkins, FS, Miami (Fla.) (A)
Round 5 Pick 12: DeAngelo Brown, DT, Louisville (B+)
Round 5 Pick 27: Jadar Johnson, SS, Clemson (B+)
Round 6 Pick 14 (BALT): Justin Senior, OT, Mississippi State (C+)
Round 7 Pick 16 (BALT): Trent Taylor, WR, Louisiana Tech (A+)

How You Matched Up:
1. Chicago Bears - 10334
2. Denver Broncos - 10137
3. San Francisco 49ers - 10053
4. Carolina Panthers - 10030
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 9986
6. Seattle Seahawks - 9960
7. Buffalo Bills - 9801
