Wisconsin's offense feasted on Purdue, Illinois and Akron. The Big10 was exposed in the bowl season by going 3-7.

Notre Dame's record was horrible but their offense scored points for the most part.

A question about two teams offenses one of which is an independent and you bring up conference strength?

Pre bowl games, the Big10 was thought of as the cats meow, post bowl game not so much. You don't see how that may effect the strength of Wisconsin's schedule?

Well I suppose but ND lost to the only B1G they faced. Michigan State went on to win one conference game all year.

The answer to his question is completely based on what you feel is the "better offense". Notre Dame put up more yards while Wisconsin was more efficient.

ND scored 28 in their loss the MSU and Wisky scored 30 in their win. I didn't watch either game so I have no clue other than the final score on how the game went.

Sounds like they were probably fairly equal and too close to argue about.

Notre Dame scored late while MSU went full potato and prevent (win) defense. MSU was up 36-7 before going stupid.

Wisconsin scored nearly half their points on MSU's mistakes (that Wisconsin created), a fumble 6 and a pick that put them on the 5 yard line.

I will keep going back to the NFL.

When judging the best Defenses and Offenses in History, they all start with Super Bowl Winners. And while I know this is about Offense. The Best Defenses ALL have Super Bowl Wins.

Judging a 4-8 teams Offense is Worthless. They are a 4-8 Team.

Well, I don't know. I've never really thought about it. If the outcome of my decision would like impact you emotionally to the point of you experiencing the strange desire to tie one end of a piano wire around your neck and the other end to a tree then take off running away from the tree as fast as you can I'm not sure I could deal with the guilt that would be associated to the fact that I mentioned it to you in the first place.
