The only thing that matters is the OC because they'll be in control of the Offense.

The only thing that matters is the OC because they'll be in control of the Offense.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Broncos will interview ex-Raiders OC Bill Musgrave and ex-Chargers coach Mike McCoy for their offensive-coordinator vacancy on Thursday.

Both would be excellent hires for new coach Vance Joseph, who just landed the Broncos' job Wednesday. Musgrave was let go by the division-rival Raiders earlier this week and would obviously have a fire burning in his belly to get "back" at Oakland. McCoy was the Broncos' OC before getting the head job in San Diego. Musgrave has also been linked to Cal-Berkley's head-coach gig.

No offense to fans of the Dolphins but your Defensive talent sucks ass outside of like maybe 3 good players. Look at what Joseph did in Houston and Cincinnati and you'll see why teams liked him to be their new HC.

Don't feel bad for us. We just won a SB... I feel sorta bad for you guys though.... Congrats on getting to your first playoff in 8 years though... Hopefully you can gain some momentum. Don't feel bad for us though... We've had a great winning franchise for decades...

lol @ the butt hurt that simple comment caused

the dude was a terrible DC, I'm sure you guys watched all of the Dolphins games this year though.

lol @ Houston/Cincy he was a DB coach, not a D coordinator, this year was his first coordinator job and he sucked ass.

And yes, look at my av, I also feel sorry for myself for being a Dolphins fan.

Miami ranked 29th in total defense this year

Yes, he was so awful that 5 teams wanted to interview him. I think there is some information you might be missing here on the guy. You don't get 5 contacted interviews as an NFL coach if you, yourself is terrible. Truth is nobody knows what he will be like as a HC, but obviously many had confidence in him enough to be interested in interviewing him. You don't get that "sucking" Your D was crud. Joseph walked into a terrible situation with your defense. A dolphin fan "feeling sorry" for a Bronco fan is sorta ironic. ;)

Thanks for your opinion, but don't feel sorry for us.

I am getting more and more on board with the hiring. I love what I am hearing of the coaching staff he is forming. I'm liking especially the offensive staff that is rumored to be getting signed over the next few days.

And really from all that I have read this is what I have concluded. Fans for the most part wanted Kyle Shanahan. And why not. He just produced one of the best offenses in NFL history and well our offense has been terrible. So it makes sense.

Most ex-coaches and players all said that Vance Joseph would be the better hire of the two because of his ability to communicate and play more of that CEO role that Head Coaches are asked of today. So I'm more believing that the people who have actually done it have a better clue that us as fans on some of these things.

And as DC said 5 of the 6 HC openings were trying to set up interviews with this guy. He was viewed by the NFL community as the #1 HC prospect available.
