God please no. He's done fabulous work on our staff as a offensive consultant this season. It's written all over the playbook.

I can see him holding out for a PAC-12 O coordinator or HC position when they open up the next year or two.

Tedford had a good run for a few years at Cal, sent a lot of players to the NFL and had some good (but not great) years. Then the wheel's just kind of fell off at the end there...

But based on the NFL talent that went through Cal in his tenure there, many expected more from those teams.

Tedford won't be the interim coach as it turns out but he could be the head coach. Will be interesting to see if they hire him

Fresno State should be able to attract a good candidate as they have been traditionally one of the best programs in the group of 5, problem is who can they afford? Will they have to go with Tedford? Or an up and coming guy like Bob Stitt

I haven't checked lately but Fresno used to have one of the better attendance rates for a G5 team. Don't know if it still is.

I think it went downhill this year....something that isn't surprising when a team is 1-7 with their only win over a FCS team.

Normally they have very strong attendance and they have a good sized stadium too.
