Given the picture so far this season in college football, I see no reason why Nebraska shouldn't be ranked 12th in the nation. Are they a top ten team? I don't think so. Top 20? Sure, why not?
Nebraska is an imperfect team with a perfect record. Enjoy the spotlight while it lasts.

In retrospect last year we had 3 losses at this point and 1 more yet for week 6 - byu miami Illinois Wisconsin
If a guy told me we'd be ranked inside the top 15 at week 5 ida told him to get his head outta his ass

Illinois is probably the biggest test we've honestly faced so far.

At this point it hasn't always been pretty, there is no consistency but they have done what it takes to win and win and win.

One thing for sure Riley is a hell of a lot better and pounding square pegs into round holes. I think he might of shaved the corners off some of those pegs.

I'm going to predict we move from #12 to #10 tomorrow after sitting out on a bye week.

Houston, Miami, and Tennessee will all fall behind us. I would guess someone could jump us since we were idle though.

Actually I take that back. Baylor and Ole Miss are the 2 teams behind us and they were both on bye weeks as well.

Nebraska is probably going to be #9 tomorrow after literally doing nothing this week :dhd:

Meh, I'm not sure that Nebraska is a top 10 team, but it seems like the college football world is trying their damndest to hand the ranking to someone.
We might as well enjoy it for however long it lasts.

Looks like I might get to see a Top Ten Nebraska team play in Bloomington. I will have to look at my history of games to see the last time I was able to do that.
