After his 2 picks yesterday Richard Sherman now has 8 INTs in two straight seasons.

I know there are guys who have a lot of career picks but off of the top of my head I cannot think of any CB who has had 2 straight seasons with 8 or more INTs.

Here are some of the guys I checked who have not done that:
Willie Brown: Only had more than 8 INTs once.
Deion Sanders: Never even hit 8 INTs in a season.
Rod Woodson: Had 8 or more INTs twice in his career but not consecutively. One of those years he was playing FS I believe.
Mel Blount: Had 11 INTs in 1975. Never had more than 6 outside that year.
Ty Law: 10 INTs in 2005, 9 INTs in 1998. Never had more than 8 in two straight years though.
Darrell Green: Never had more than 5.
Lem Barney: He is the closest one I could find but still never had 8+ in two consecutive years. From 1967 to 1970 he had 10, 7, 8 and 7 INTs respectively.
Mike Haynes: Only had 8 INTs in 1 season.
Ken Riley: 9 INTs in 1976, 8 in 1983. Not consecutive.
Paul Krause: Played safety, NFL's career INT leader. Has not had 2 straight seasons with 8 or more INTs.
Darren Sharper: Another safety, 6th most INTs in NFL history. Has not had 2 straight years with 8 or more INTs.
Night Train Lane: 14 INTs his rookie year in 1952, but followed it up with 2 INTs the next year. In 1953 had 10 INTs but after that never had more than 7 INTs in a season.
Ed Reed: Played safety but never had 8+ in two consecutive seasons.
Ronnie Lott: 10 in 1986, 8 in 1991. Obviously not consecutive. Played CB and S.
Dave Brown: Had 8 only once.
Dick LeBeau: 9 in 1970. Never had more than 7 other than that year.

I think Sherman may be the only played in NFL history to have 8+ INTs in two consecutive seasons. If someone can find me someone who has done it feel free to share, I went through a lot of hall of famers as you can see.

Found someone who has had 8+ INTs in two straight seasons but he did not play corner.

Johnny Robinson in 1969 had 8 INTs, then in 1970 had 10 INTs. He played FS.

Champ Bailey had 8 in 2005 and 10 in 2006.

Should have decided to check him as well. Still a great accomplishment by Richard Sherman. Not many players have done it.

In 1981 Everson Walls had 11 INTs. In 1982, he had 7 INTs. This does not quite fit your criteria, but is noteworthy because in 1982 the season was a strike-shortened 9 games.

Some article I perused today said it is the 4th time it has happened, Champ Bailey being the last to accomplish it.
