You have no idea if what you just said is true. Medical doctors, and I assume you aren't one, don't even know the exact nature of the risk of heart damage. As all the articles and doctors have stated, there is anecdotal evidence that this risk exists, but that no in depth studies have been conducted. We won't know for years when the medical and scientific community can look back and do the studies need to come to a conclusion with the certainty of your post. It's not there today.

As for the 3 viruses I mentioned, that can affect the heart, they are part of college football. Teams are constantly being vigilant to ensure that the flu and mono are not spread throughout the team. While C19 is a novel virus, the idea of protecting athletic teams from common viruses (cold, flu, mono) is not new at all.
Evidence exist. An athlete could have a career ended by catching the virus.

The idea of protecting athletes from the 3 you mentioned is not new but this virus and the way it works is new.

Not having heard of any issues of any kind includes heart issues.

Professional athletes are probably the most "health monitored" people on earth. NBA players have their health monitored constantly. The guys who have tested positive or were in contact with any infected player have had their health monitored even more closely than usual.

It's pretty safe to say that with all of the information that's been coming out during all of this, if an NBA player had any kind of lingering or lasting effects, we'd know about it by now.
Covid-19 leaves its impact on the heart, raising fears of lasting damage

From ‘brain fog’ to heart damage, COVID-19’s lingering problems alarm scientists

Nice try.

The question was whether or not any of the NBA players who tested positive had any lingering issues.

I said I have not heard of any issues of any kind with those players.

I didn't see a single NBA player named in any of those articles.

So no, I haven't heard.

How hard will the rest of CFB laugh if Big 10 teams are still allowed to practice through the fall?

There has been nothing said about continued practice. Just that they can't play games.

"You can practice, use the weight room, eat at the dining tables, and attend team meetings, but you can't play"

.
We are already laughing at them for practicing, but at the same time it is so dangerous to play they cancelled the season.

Pretending that you're too dumb to understand what the discussion was about and what I was referring to just makes you look, well...dumb.

Unless of course you really didn't understand. Then it wouldn't just be a look.

And the plot thickens.
you know if they use that Bohm plan.. Gonna be easy for the other conferences to negative recruit them.. not only did they start in the spring, they jacked up the regular fall schedule too

The idea of protecting athletes from the 3 you mentioned is not new but this virus and the way it works is new.
An athlete can have their career ended every time they go to practice or a game. There is always risk in football, balancing it with full information is what we need to have, not fear mongering.

The way it works is actually quite similar ... there is nothing new to what is happening. Read up on it. The way it is identified, and managed is quite similar to the other 3 viruses I mentioned. UGA's medical staff has stated that they have been testing for this "new" heart disease for many years. Kind of surprised it's so new to the B1G and PAC (being very sarcastic).

So, let me ask you this. I assume you are for closing down all practices, any athletic activity at all, and send students home and close down campuses. Because if the issue is this heart disease, there is nothing that indicates it is unique to athletes. Any student can get it, and having 40K students on campus can't be safe. So, I assume you want everything shut down for the .001% chance of this happening.

But if they are erring on the side of caution, why would they open the campus dorms up for 10k+ students to return? The football team and staff are around 100 people, and will be closely monitored and tested at least weekly. They will be playing other teams with the same protocols. So why do the presidents of these universities think that COVID is more dangerous to the football team than the students returning in MUCH larger numbers and without the close monitoring?
Beats the hell out of me. Makes absolutely no sense to me and I can't get an answer from anyone that is in the "don't play" camp. Let me know if anyone provides a decent answer to your question.

Did you know in Austin only 5% of it's students will be on campus learning? 18% will be on a hybrid schedule (campus and online) and the rest are taking online classes exclusively.
