if they link back to the history somehow then we can look at it . the banner will be changed at least twice more

You keep telling yourself that .Your right Sportster, not a big deal however, since the banner stays and continues to evolve as dad has eluded too, the HISTORY of this franchise remains the same. The superbowl trophy's are going no where, John Riggins run off left tackle for a game winning TD vs the 82' Dolphins is going no where, Sean Taylor's legacy in a REDSKINS uniform is going no where nor is Joe Thiesmann's stories about the hogs, superbowl victory, his broken leg or anything else that transpired under the name Redskins. The history remains under the Washington franchise, established in 1932. Darrell Green, Sonny Jurgensen, Art Monk, Bobby Mitchell and all other Redskins will be remembered as Redskins by Redskin fans, broadcasters, owners, former owners, players and fans alike.
Snyder is being forced to change the name, he is not changing it. Hard core PC folks are changing the name to suit their agenda and political correctness. I could give 2 rats F#&ks what anyone thinks about the football name REDSKINS.
If I were to design a banner it would include all former Redskins with Redskins uni's on calling them Washington Football Team because, that's who they played for, the Washington Franchise established in 1932.
