Washington beat Oregon 70 - 21 in 2016 and beat them the following year by a score of 37 -3.

I know and it was nice to finally celebrate a win over OU and be .500 over the last 4 yrs but can't deny they have been dominate against us over the last 16+ yrs.

I was pumped to see UW play this year but knowing the PAC they'll follow the B1G's lead.

UW has become a leftist indoctrination center.

NCAA will announce tomorrow (Monday, August 10) that the fall football season has been cancelled.

It was always going to happen, so the sooner we come to grips with that fact, the sooner we can move past the disappointment.
No they won’t because they have no say in this

Think it's coming down to the fact players will lawyer up and demand millions if they get covid this fall and it physically damages them from being able to play anymore.

Even if it will impossible to diagnose they got it from the games or at practice. No way the schools are going to set themselves up for that kind of financial ruin.

Should be pretty simple. Either waive or don't play. I understand they aren't compensated in the form of physical pay but their scholarships are a form of compensation. And much like the real world if you don't work you don't get paid. So no scholly.

Now if the school does something egregious that causes them to get sick then sure they should be liable. But other than that your average 20 year old is likely exposing themselves to Covid much worse then on a football field.

BUNCH OF FUCKING PUSSIES!!! These players are much safer on campus than at home. Numbers have started to reach a plateau and are starting to slowly come down so why not wait until at the least the first of September to see if they keep coming down??

BECAUSE THEY ARE LIBERAL PUSSIES, ALL OF THEM AND JUST TRYING TO APPEASE THE EXTREME LEFT MEDIA THAT MAKES UP MOST OF TWITTER!!! FUCK THEM

I'll tell you who we should hate, and that is the vile and evil Communist Chinese cocksuckers, who the corporate world with the blessing of congress absolutely has lusted over the last few decades.

I understand why they want to cancel, but the B16 trying to "postpone" the season to the spring is an even bigger slap in the face. The same issues we are having today will be the same issues we face in February getting ready for a March season.
They just have to be honest and say they are aiming for a 2021 season.

Now I do hope that the Big 12 can put together a season, even if it's just a few games. Gives the seniors a chance to put some tape before next spring's NFL draft.

The scholarship numbers, granting red shirts are going to be a cluster fuck.

The more I hear, the more I hope the players do form a union.. NCAA, Conference Commisioners all have failed.. how can a union decision on how to handle this be worse?

If it gets canceled now, or a few weeks after the term starts and thousands of students start attending frat parties, getting covid and causing spikes, what does it matter? This season was never going to happen and the only hope I have now is that something can be moved to spring.

I think the players are starting to figure out how much power they have in the situation. The NCAA may be totally screwed here within the year.

How have people failed? They don’t have the ability to create a bubble in college football and there is the added wrinkle of the liability that comes from putting unpaid players in harms way.

If you’re mad that there isn’t going to be a season, I could understand that in April. But if you’re Fucking stupid enough to think that these universities were going to sign up for this potential liability and you couldn’t see that this was getting cancelled you’re a fucking idiot.
