I think this clearly puts the Seahawks secondary as the best in football barring injury. Pete and Norton need to utilize this and figure out ways to pressure the QB.

Last year Seattle's D was so dam predictable that even scrub QB's would hit us for 400 yards... That 3 linebacker set even in long passing downs was frustrating... We also rarely blitzed..

This is Pete's philosophy. He doesn't like blitzing.

IMO, that is the big question mark regarding Adams. If they don't let him roam free and blitz regularly, then that trade was dumb.

Agreed, they need to let him go after it, he’s a beast getting after the QB, very explosive ....

Yep. Than should have taken those draft picks and traded for the kid in Jax.

Well this is good news that Dunbar wont be charged and I agree with the previous comment I would be very surprised if the NFL moves forward with anything. I am glad this wont drag out into anything and suspensions are issued out then we have to file an appeal its a pain.

I think Adams is a better player than Ngokue.
He’s played two years, and already considered the best safety in football to most. Yannick would have been a huge upgrade, but at Adams age he should have the longer impact.

Adams is arguably the best safety in the league and EASILY the best box safety, which is what Seattle's D was originally built on. There's nobody better.

"LOL safety, what about pass rush!?" some douche 'fan' will say.

Yah... except basically every Super Bowl winning team in the last decade+ had an elite or borderline elite safety.. derp. So tired of this "BUT WHAT ABOUT PASS RUSH!!L!J!LKJ!L!!" dorks online. Bennett, Clemons, Avril... NONE of those guys were ELITE pass rushers. It was a pass rush by committee, and they all got to the QB because the WRs were scared as fuck to go past the 5 yard line.

There's one team in the NFC West that can match up with Kittle this season. It's Seattle. It's also Seattle because ENTIRELY of the fact they have Jamal Adams.

I'm fine with building the defense from the back.

But our DL is paper thin doesn't have a ton of talent at the moment. If they bring back Clowney plus someone like Snacks then I'll feel a heck of a lot better.
