Has anybody seen Giroux? I think JVR stole his jersey. Not to worried though, he's one of the few that can get hot quick. Hope its soon.

Freakin NAK is here to stay! Been loving this kid all season. He scored after each bong hits I did. Tried to keep the streak going but now I'm just baked and half drunk.
I see nothing has changed buddy.:suds::lol:

We need to get our power play clicking very soon to make a deep run. 0 for 11 is very bad. Penalty kill is outstanding.

That’s the great part. G and Couts haven’t gotten going yet. Power play is stale and they still dominated 3 really good teams. Stuff to work on will keep them grounded and focused and they won’t be feeling full of themselves.

I'm beginning to think Ghost played injured most of the season. I mean look at the difference from season began and stopped till the start up npw? The Ghost now looks like Ghost from 2 years ago.

Ghost looks great.
Great matchup vs the Habs.
Hart needs to have a better performance vs the Habs than last time. Put aside his childhood idol Price behind him. Hart is very capable of being an elite level goalie like Price soon enough. He's very close to it now imo.

At first glance, NAK looks a lot like TK right now. If he had been able to accept a breakaway pass late in the 2nd, he probably would've had a hat trick last night.

Couturier shows these youngsters the way with two assists on goals by NAK and Farabee. Welcome back to Shayne Gostisbehere with a couple more helpers himself. How much depth do we have on defense right now!? It's pretty spectacular, I must say.

I think our defense finally was tested in this one and we were bending but not breaking for a great portion of the 3rd period. Hart did not have to stand on his head, but still made 4 or 5 grade A saves throughout this game to preserve our lead. He appears to be ready for the big stage.

Obviously we want to stay healthy here and get the power play going, but I don't think Montreal has a chance against us in a best of 7 series. I'm not even worried about jinxing anything.

Hopefully Jake is alright and holding him out for last night was nothing serious. Either way, it is clear that we have forwards that can step up and do more. We also have other lines that can play both ways and are currently scoring.

G - who ?

Just kidding. What a luxury to have your top line producing no goals and still dominating games. And I frankly don’t care or think it is important who scores. Only the PP concerns me a little.

TB obviously carried the play for the 2nd & 3rd, but there was no panic on the flyboys. Milbury (whatever that jerks name is) did make a interesting point while Flyers were defending. He said that Hart could anticipate where shots were likely to come from based on the disciplined Defense the Flyers were playing. They were keeping TB to the outside, and the likely open lanes for shots were being dictated by the Flyers. And the D-men could count on Hart to make the stops that he needed to make.

This is a well coached team - and the players are all-in. That’s powerful. I thought I heard a commentator say the Flyers 3 main coaches had over 2,800 NHL games as head coach. Experience does matter (cough cough Hakstol)

He did play well but it was one game. Hope he can play like that more often but way to soon to tell.
