NE has a pretty strong secondary.
Bill runs so many nickel and dime packages hard to name the 4 starters in their base D.

Stephon Gilmore
Adrian Phillips (I think will get the nod to start)
Dev McCourty
Jason McCourty

These are who you might see on the official depth chart.

But I think a couple of these young studs start getting more reps;

Kyle Dugger NEs 1st pick this year so TBD?
JC Jackson hearing trade rumors. This kid had better numbers than Gilmore.
Jonathan Jones
Joejuan Williams

A good secondary doesn't mean much if you can't stop the run. Can the Seahawks stop the run?
Then again, a "good" secondary doesn't mean much "on paper". Let's see how they preform in a game first before declaring them "the best".

Funny, that secondary still looks like they need a thug ass bitch like Clowney to help them.

Patriots secondary is very good (as is Buffalo).. but Seattle MIGHT POTENTIALLY field the best unit in the league after this year. Dunbar was the second ranked corner (hungry for a contract), Adams is arguably the best safety in football (the best SS), Griffin is solid, and Diggs is very good.

BUT.. gotta see how it all comes together and if Dunbar's season was a fluke with "The Washington Football Team" (God I love you Snyder).

That said, having an elite secondary is quite a thing in the league at the moment. "OMGOMGOMG SEATTLE SPENT ALL THAT ON A SAFETY LOLOL!" Yah... and every team that's won the Super Bowl in the last decade had an elite or borderline elite one? Seems secondary is more important than ever.

If you know me on this forum and have followed me for some time (dunno why any of you would... lol) you'll know that I value safety play FAR more than it gets recognition for. I valued safety play very high before Thomas/Chancellor. I think it's a MASSIVELY underrated position. It's the QB of your secondary. We're in a passing league. DERP!?

Seattle’s secondary is looking really nice right now, but I lack confidence in our D coordinator... And I worry about our pass rush, and the fact that we never blitz under Norton... Our D was the reason we didn’t go to the Super Bowl last year, honestly even an average D we might have gotten there..

The Bucs have McCoy. So he won't be a problem.

It seems like a good secondary on paper but we'll see how Norton draws up the plans
