That loss really pissed me off. I knew we'd lose eventually, but good god. That was such a winnable game if we just didn't act like prepubescent little leaguers at the plate.

If we take 3 of 4 tomorrow, you have to be happy. But Kuechel and the staff deserved a win... and our guys in the lineup REALLY shit the bed. Milwaukee really didn't deserve that game anymore than we did either.

Ah well... good thing about baseball? You get to play the next day. Don't have to wait a week like football.

I feel cheated that I didn't get to feel the way I do after the Sox win, but that's baseball.

Lots of missed opportunities last night - the Sox got baserunners - the Sox hit the ball hard, but the Brewers made plays. Hat's off to the Brewers pitching and defense last night.

The ball was not carrying in the Chicago air last night - too many warning track drives.

Let's get them today.

That's been our achilles heel with respect to the offense overall - we simply leave way too many men on base, altho last night was probably the fewest to date. I wish I could find some offensive stats that also include LOB numbers, I just can't find anything. I'm willing to bet we're at the top or really damn close to it.
