Good move resigning Peters because who knows if your LT will be any good or not. As far as playing RG goes. No opinion on that. Has he ever played OG? Regardless I'm guessing it's a dirt cheap contract (vet minimum plus bonuses maybe?) and a smart move

I'm guessing Peters has never played OG in a game, maybe never even practiced there. He originally signed with the Bills as a UDFA TE. The way they handled his contract situation - basically lowballing him and letting him walk for nothing, ranks with the dumbest things in Bills (or arguably any NFL) management history.

Shouldn't have much trouble adjusting to it since playing OG isn't radically different than playing OT.

Usually your guards are linemen not athletic enough to play tackle which is why you see a few guys that played tackles in college convert to guards in the NFL.

$3M guaranteed but can make up to $6M.

He hasn't played any guard but I don't think he will have much issue transitioning. He isn't as athletic at tackle anymore but he should still be plenty athletic to play guard in the Eagles scheme of pulling guards to the second level for screens.

Agreed it was dumb for the Bills to part ways with him but thwy didn't let him walk for nothing, Eagles did trade a 1dt round pick for him.

OK I was mistaken. For some reason I thought they let him walk. They did get Eric Wood with the 1st rd pick, so not a terrible deal in the end. OTOH, with their 1-11 pick in that draft, they took an all-time dud in Aaron Maybin.

Peters got punked out of his regular job. What a chump, sticking with a team that bounced him out.

Rarely a player get his name chanted as they are carted off the field. He's a legend with this franchise, of course he wants to stay where he has that status instead of a journeyman mercenary at the end of his road somewhere else.

Such a tremendous move after the Brooks injury.

The Eagles always have great backup plans. That's how they just won their Super Bowl. Booyah!
