Anything to make a buck....Geez, I can hardly wait to be a piece of cardboard sitting in the stands @ T Mobile Park. :suds: :pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::trash:

Join the Mariners Seat Fleet - only $30!

Anchors away! Mariners Baseball will soon set sail at T-Mobile Park and while at this time fans won't be able to physically attend the games, we're assembling a crew of personalized fan cutouts to help navigate the waters of a 60-game MLB season.

Introducing the launch of the Mariners Seat Fleet! For just $30, you can purchase a recycle-friendly version of yourself that will sit in on all of the game action at T-Mobile Park this season while you're safe at home. Plus, the Mariners will donate a portion of every purchase to non-profit organizations supporting COVID-related relief efforts in our communities. What's more, if your cutout "catches" a foul ball during a game, we'll mail you the baseball!

It's easy to join the Mariners Seat Fleet. Just cut-out a few minutes to upload your high-resolution photo, then tune into Mariners home games on ROOT SPORTS to find yourself in the T-Mobile Park stands.

I see a lot of teams doing it.

And here I thought Jerry Jones' $100 pizza was crazy!

At least they got some pizza for that Benjamin.

Do companies still have to pay for their season tickets?

If I had a ton of extra money I'd pay time and time again, and submit pictures of myself, except they'd all be dead celebrities, tv characters, Waldo and Carmen San Diego, etc.

Will they hookup buzzers and cameras to them for the outfield cut-outs?

Good question. My brother has had Hawks season tickets since 1978 and they gave holders the option of using this years money towards next years tickets while holding their spots, refunding the money while holding their spots, or cancelling their tickets.

I haven't heard anything regarding the Mariners and what happens with both their season ticket holders...lol. I would be interested in knowing though.

I was just kind of curious because I haven’t paid for a ticket to a Mariners game in close to a decade and was just wondering if those companies still have to pay. I have two doctors on my route that always give me tickets when I want them but they are barely surviving and doubt they have the ability to pay for their season tickets.

So true. Hard times economically even for doctors.

They are getting by but aren’t bringing in enough revenue to be able to pay all of their employees and pay into the package of having season tickets to the M’s, Hawks and Sounders. I know we aren’t the crew to ask but was just curious. Since this whole Covid thing has happened I haven’t exactly asked either doctor about tickets like I always do this time of year.

I signed my wife, my dog, and myself up for this just for the novelty of it... $100 total? I've wasted more than that on way stupider shit. We'll see if they actually use the one of the dog... couldn't find it stated that it wasn't allowed.

Going back to the Astros bit.....

other teams should hook speakers up to their cardboard cutout fans so the Astros can be booed mercilessly every time they come up to bat.

Truth... those fuckers are going to get off easy. This whole Covid debacle was orchestrated as a distraction by that organization.

Every other fan base thinks the Seahawks pump in noise during games, the Mariners have a chance to pump in that level of noise now.

I think it would be funny if every Astro game had trash cans banging thought out the game. That way they can feel its a normal game. Allow fans to try and figure out which bangs mean what. A game within a game. :suds:
