Yeah I was pretty good and funny even though I am not a fan of those time loop movies.

i am glad they touched on Roy in the post credit, but about granny? I thought that was clearly Sarah, but after maybe billions of years or something. How could they not revisit her?

How would it be Sarah? The characters don't age while in the loop.

And I agree, felt like she left her hanging. She should have stood up one day and asked if anyone else was experiencing this whole thing too...

I didn't really feel there was much to touch up on. She seemed content where she was.

I mean, she gets to live forever...maybe with her husband on a very happy day.

I doubt she'd want to leave.

I can see why Sarah would want out. She keeps reliving the biggest mistake she has ever made every morning. That would suck.

I guess spoilers are out, but I am going to stick with them. At least for the first couple pages...

I don’t know how. Not even going to venture a guess. But the little we got to see of who she was matched Sarah’s background. If we only get a tiny sliver into a character, and it happens to match perfectly one of the main characters...

I am glad they confirmed that they actually reached out to Roy to invite him to leave with them. I would have liked that scene to be shown, but I guess the previous scene at Roy’s house was an appropriate resolution for the Roy character.

Sarah definitely has some puppy dog eyes. No smokeshow but she definitely grew on me and got more attractive throughout the movie imo...I mean I grew

I was a little confused about him when we went to his house. He is content living the same day in and out with his family? It's not like he built that in the one day he keeps doing over and over...but he makes it sound like he did.

So how long were they in the loop? It has been estimated that Bill Murray was in Groundhog Day for over 33 years.

I get the sense that Nyles was in there for a LONG time. He was in there so long that he forgot key details of his “real” life. Is that 10 years? 100 years? 1,000,000 years?

I don’t figure Sarah was in there for too long before the fight. Maybe a year? But I think it was at least 10 years between the fight and the resolution of the movie. It would take at least that long for her to do what she had to do. But that assumes she went in that direction almost immediately and stayed somewhat focused on the goal the whole time. How long did it take her to figure out what had to be done? What other ideas did she have that didn’t work? How long did the execution of her plan take, after she learned what she needed to learn?

He just saw what he had and was content. When all was said and done, it was a good day and he was ok living that drama-free day.

Well... He slept with her a lot, so I'd guess at least 5 years worth.

Yeah I would probably say decades for Niles...since he forgot about his life.

It sounds like Roy met Niles in his early days so I venture to say almost as long as Nyles was in the loop.

As far as Sarah, probably not that long...maybe a year or so but nothing like decade(s).

Exactly. Sarah and Nyles both wake up in hell, essentially. No matter how good “yesterday” was, they wake up in the fallout of their real life decisions. Roy wakes up in the Norman Rockwell world he has already built.
