i just took a look at the team boards of the chiefs , steelers pats , packers and raiders 49ers vikings are months dead

the steelers and pats and seahawks have some action on them

same with the eagles and cowboys .

the giants are months dead and their last post was un -moderated skins fans need a home

i didnt realize just how much action this team moderated board has .

you can go to the general forum and the politics thread and get all the conversation you want but if are a chiefs fan from a superbowl team and there isnt a post reply for months much like this board was 10 yrs ago

geez it seems like we are the only game in town as far as team talk goes

this name change could really kill this team forum

wow , i guess all you have is general football talk and politics to talk about

It’s a crazy world outside of the Redskins forum. :pound:

Outside of a couple teams, specific team boards are rarely utilized on this site, for any sport really. Most of the discussion happens in the NFL forum.

Yep, Caps have a board under Ted's site ... nothing here. The Nats forum on here used to have two guys, not sure if they are still there. The Vikings board is mostly slow, it does pick up some during the season.

yeah i was just surprised and it gives me a lot of insight on some things . this board is active all the time , so now i know why there is so much turmoil

it also shows that people who say this site isnt active are misinformed

it also shows we have passionate fans who cant get enough of our team

i didnt see hardly any video clips of the off season , their draft nothing .

Everybody is on Redskins Fb Groups i bet extremeskins probaly 25 people strong. 3 years ago 1,000 plus. If there is no football this year people are going to find out real fast they dont need football in there lives and they will never come back i never went back to baseball after there Strike.. i did watch the world series kc vs mets

I think the name change issue generated a lot of the talk here. It's helped here; at least so far.

A lot depends on if there are better or more established message boards for each team.

Right, but for example - a team like KC might have a huge message board on another site - with that being the reason they're not big on this site. Breed, DGF and I probably wouldn't be here except the board we used to be at KFFL.com got bought out by ESPN - who decided to not support the message board and just focus on fantasy football.

This ^^^^ is what has become of KFFL. I was unaware it was ESPN that bought em out.

My mistake - it was USA Today that bought out KFFL. We probably helped make the KFFL owner some money - though the message board wasn't a money-maker, but it probably drew people to the fantasy sports part - which is what USA Today was after. I think the owners were Ryan and Cory Bonini - one used to post on the non-sports board - seemed like a good guy.

I looked around just a bit - didn't find much, and once I saw you and DGF here, it was an easy choice. Hoping that MichaelB and a couple others eventually make it here.
