I didn't know that there was a cap on serving alcohol. Hasn't stopped me from stumbling out of every game I've been to.

I'm not sure around the country but here in Philly there's a cap. They stop serving at the start of the 4th quarter of the Eagles/Sixers games and the end of the 7th inning of the Phillies games. Last years Sixers/Raptors game 4 playoff game my buddy and I were there and boy did we need beer in that 4th quarter.

Yeah that experience you had doesn't surprise me. I remember I went to a game back in 2009 where the Seahawks slaughtered the Jaguars and I saw an older couple wearing Jaguars gear being screamed at after the game even though they weren't saying a word.

I don't understand why they act like that. I'm as passionate about my teams as anyone else, but I've only made friends whenever I'm at a game (aside from that one story about the Oregon fan in the UW student section, although I later apologized to him). If anything, if there is an opposing fan in the stands I make conversation with them because I assume they know more about their team than I do.

Good to hear the situation didn't end poorly. I'd be furious if a friend or family member was acting like that unprovoked. Alcohol isn't an excuse IMO. I'm plastered at almost every sporting event I attend and I don't create problems.

I think its fine to do a little trash talking to other fans but some folks take it to far and in most cases its the booze giving them the liquid courage to try and fight someone

They have it here as well, the problem is like football games you got folks tailgating all morning and they start drinking then. Same with the Mariner games, you pub crawl or bring your own cooler.

And in most cases folks drink before they get into the stadiums so they don't have to pay the high prices in there, unless of course they are wasted when they get in and forget about the high prices and want to keep their buzz going.

I usually don't drink much at the games but that playoff game I drank more than usual.

Looks like the Michigan game won't happen. Wonder what's going to happen with that.

Tbh I think it's a blessing in disguise because with a new QB I didn't really like our odds to win that game.

Hopefully get a future home game to make up for it. It sucks losing this game cause it would have given us a idea what the team looks like against another tough P5 school.

I'd have to assume they'd reach an agreement where we play the away game at Michigan next season and have a home game against Michigan in 2022.

I actually think that would be beneficial for us because I think we'll be better in 2021 and 2022 than we currently are right now based on recruiting trends.

I agree Washington should get a home game back but looking at the future schedules. Michigan has an open date in 2023 which I'm good with cause if Sam Huard is the real deal as we hope, he could be our starter.

This year is a what do we have and yes 21 and 22 should look more promising.

Holy Smokes is this story a bizarre one.

My take. He should of committed to Wash, but the parents and boosters of USC had other ideas.
He hated the USC OC and what it meant to his role as a TE on that team. Appears he finally made the call this wasn't what he wanted.

He might end up a Dawg again. Very interesting.
