Is he worth a dynasty add?

Hopkins is gone and the bromance is with Brandin Cooks to soak up those missing 150 targets.
Will Fuller can't seem to stay off the injury report. In 4 seasons he has missed 34% of games.

Cobb's ECR is currently the WR73 and his ADP is an uninspiring 40 spots lower which means he's going largely undrafted in redraft leagues.

Again, the Texans made a splash signing Cooks to replace Hopkins. But Cobb's signing was a 3-year deal (cap $$ below).

Here's some other numbers: If you had to guess, would you guess that Houston seems to pass a lot more than Dallas? In 2019, Houston passed 55% of the time and ran 968 offensive plays. Dallas passed 57% of the time and ran 1046 offensive plays. If you missed it, Dallas ran 78 more plays than Houston which is the equivalent of an extra game of offense.

He’s on a roster in most leagues. I own him in a couple of leagues. More of a sleeper type. Hard to judge how things work out for WRs on that team. Got some decent but injury prone types on the roster.

I'd say hes definitely worth an add. I don't have great faith in him producing enough/consistently enough to be anything more than a weekly flex option, or a spot starter type, but that is easily roster worthy

I may be alone in this, but I personally have as much faith in Cobb as either Fuller or Cooks - neither of those two are the model of health. ...

Stills is better and David Johnson/Fells will soak up some of the lost targets that don't go to Cooks (who they traded a 2nd for and got a 4th back with Cooks, not signed). I wouldn't concern myself with adding an aged Cobb unless there is literally nothing else on the waiver wire.

That is true.

However, at this stage in his career, he might be their 5th WR when everyone actually is healthy, if that ever happens.

So expect a lot of inconsistency.

He’s “worth an add”. Just as long as we understand what that means. Depending on your roster, league size and waivers, he could probably be “worth a drop” too.

If he’s healthy.......the sort of red flag that says avoid this player or maybe you feel lucky? He had 6 known concussions, one more could be the straw that breaks his career. Fuller is a injury just waiting to happen. Those two make Cobbs worth a bench spot, if the cost is right.

I would take 4 WRs, currently rostered on the Texans, over Cobb tbh. Coutee, Stills, Fuller, and Cooks are all better in my book. Especially in a dynasty.
