For 3/10 teams. Ive went for a Passing attack from teams but i keep getting a bad grade from Yahoo.

Is this smart?

1) Cleveland
2) Seattle
3) New Orelans/Minnisota

I've made sure to adjust the byes for the Bench?

What i'm asking is it smart go after passing attacks (starting QB, Wr's and TE) from one team, providing if you get backups that bye weeks don't coincide?

I don't think Seattle is a smart place to stack up offensive pieces from. RW yes sure, Lockett is nice, Metcalf is nice, but rarely if ever will both put up good numbers, and since neither is THE goto, why bother?
Cleveland is a bit of a wild card, given the new OC, not entirely sure how much they'll be airing it out if not needed. But with Chubb and Hunt, they'd be wise to be balanced. I wouldn't suggest stacking thier air attack either. Mayfield, OBJ, and Landry are all nice pieces, but I sure don't want all three in my lineup, probably not even two of em. And forget about the TE.
Now, stacking Brees and Thomas is a perfectly fine idea, but thats as far as anyone should ever take it with New Orleans.
And with the Vikings, Cousins is a perennial disappointment- as in- he SHOULD be among the elite given the system and talent, but is never more than adequate. I wouldn't be depending one them for more than one or two starters either.

If I'm stacking offensive pieces, I want the QB and his no doubt #1 WR, Ryan and Julio for example. But, if I do, I'm staying away from Ridley, just putting far too much into the chances of that offense needing to go nuts for my lineup to be productive, top to bottom. The old adage of "don't put all your eggs in one basket" is definitely in play in fantasy. If you've got Mayfield, OBJ, and Landry all in your lineup, and they don't score 35+, one of those WR's likely laid an egg. Or even worse, Chubb and Hunt scored 4 of the TD's, and they all sucked. Or maybe they get shut out on a fluke bad week..youre screwed.
I think the Chiefs would be the only reasonable exception where, with Mahommes, Kelce, and Hill, they almost always score enough to justify all three being in any lineup every week...and even then, its barely. Plenty of weeks where Hill wasnt exactly tearing it up, even though the Chiefs lit up the scoreboard.

It is smart to stack passing attacks from dynamic pass based offenses.

Aside from NO, most of these don’t qualify. They are conservative run based offenses. They all have useful pass game weapons, but they aren’t passing offenses to stack. And really, in NO, it is 3 guys. 2 of which are drafted in the top 8, so you aren’t getting both.

Those passing offenses to stack are:

KC, TB, ATL, etc

teams that project to throw it a ton and have multiple fantasy relevant pass game weapons.

I think its risky to go in with that approach. As much as it is a passing league, most offenses disguise their plays, spread the ball around, and dont key in on one player. Kenny Golladay led all receivers in TD receptions (11). In fact only 3 receivers had double-digit TD last year.

Stacking is for DFS, in my opinion. Yes, it can help sometimes in seasonal leagues, and of course elites are elites, so two elites together is good...but I wouldn’t be running a seasonal league with stacking normal teams, and I’d hate to have a QB and his two pass catchers every week.

IMHO teams that I would stack some of their options. By options, I mean at least the qb and 2passing options. 2 passing options can be WR, RB thats a known pass catcher, TE........

In no order
KC
Dallas
Giants(yep)
Bungals(you better believe in burrow being a top ten option though-I dont)
Lions-maybe
Falcons
Panthers
Bucs
Rams

Again, this is just my opinion.

I don't think you should go into a draft locked in on any sort of strategy. You should have a plan, and follow it to an extent, but don't be afraid to stray from it when the value doesn't add up. Every draft is unique and you can have the best plan in the world, but once things go away from the way you thought it would go, you have to be able to adapt to what the board is giving you. If you go BPA and end up with a few guys from the same team, that shouldn't be an issue. For example, in the 12th round, I'm not going to pass on someone like Marvin Jones (his ADP is around the 9th) and draft Preston Williams (ADP in the 12th) just because I drafted Golladay earlier and don't want to double up. I'm just throwing out these names as an example, but you get the point.

Minnisota

You have to spell Minnesota correctly or Yahoo will not give you credit for anything. They'll spend 6 months trying to find a Div.I school Minnisota.

i have some guys i like. I hope to get. But my strategy is gone unless im pick 1-2 by the time i make my first pick.

I just let the drafts happen, if you have strategy iMHO your're gonna cook yourself....have some targets, have some guys your're willing to take earlier than their ADP.......and if u get them great, if u dont, you can't panick just floww with it.....

And Golladay had scrubs at QB half the season. Also had scrubs lining up along side him at receiver for most of the season.

He's very undervalued for the talent he has.

He brings more to Detroits offense than KG imo. Contract year...
That's a bold statement!!

sadly dude can't stay healthy. Missed what 10-12 games past few and had injuries early on in his career too.

This entire season (if it happens) is gonna be a freakin' crapshoot, just like the baseball season. Presently, I'd lean towards baseball as being in the crapshoot lead.
