Name your top three concerns for the coming season

1) Lots of youth on offense - no mini-camps - no training in house - and likely a short preseason to get things together. It will be difficult for this offense to start the season as a polished group.

2) Injuries and covid testing - increased cases of guys being sidelined for 2 weeks - or longer. No continuity will be magnified by their newness with each other.

3) No crowds or reduced crowds in the stadiums. Although - I think there is a 50% chance I might like to hear more of the pads hitting and guys trash talking - than the crowd that covers it up. For those of us who played the game - it was the on field sounds I enjoyed the most - from minute to minute.

I think even more than practicing their routes - the WRs are going to have to know how to breakoff a route to make themselves a target for a QB with escape ability - and an arm that can fling the ball from any angle to anywhere on the field. Drew Lock will have to make plays -until the offense has a chance to get into rhythm.

My #1 concern - BG posting “after hours”.
My #2 concern, much like BG, is that this is 2020. It started off hellish with the Chiefs winning the SB. From there it descended further with Chiefisitis infecting the whole world. Yes, definite the Chiefs fault. So...do you expect something to change?

I have no concerns because I'm not expecting a season in first place. Bonus question I'd rather have no season vs playing 2 games and stop season what's your view?

I think the league will try to at least play a partial season. I can see them going to 14 games, maybe dropping the 2 uncommon games from every teams’ schedule.

I’m hoping for the full 16 though.

And assuming a full regular season, here are my top 3:

1. Lock’s development: can he build on the 5 games we saw at the end of 2019? Can he keep the offense functional for 16 games? Certainly he’s given us more to be excited about than any QB we’ve had since 2015 but until we see him do it a complete season it’s hard to know. Even Siemian looked pretty solid for a few games back in 2016.

Offensive line: while we appear to have upgraded talent, we still have some new faces to break in. The cohesion on this unit takes time and reps to develop and this is just a weird off season. It wouldn’t surprise me if this unit looks nasty early in the season despite the potential it could emerge as a solid unit late.

Health on defense: this roster looks like it could be incredible on defense. One or two critical injuries and that changes. The Broncos patch-worked their way to a top-10 unit last year and that was without the help of an offense. Think about what this can be if they actually have an offense complementing them and maintain good health through the season!

I'll play just in case

1. CB how much of a loss is CHJ going to be. Even though I'm on board with moving on early vs too late.
2. OT- no depth inury prone starter. Bolles being Bolles
3. Lock growth and growth of O in 2020. Look out in 21.

Playing 2 games is 2 games that give the rookie class experience that will help them going into 2021. If there is no season, or very limited season, it will be interesting if 2020 counts as a year of service.

My biggest concerns are:
Growth on offense with so many really young players.

Will the new additions on Defense allow the defense to maintain their effectiveness?

Will the offense line take a step forward?

I liked this move - because it didn't go ahead and have the HOFamers giving speeches to empty seats. I hope they are all around next year.

Hall of Fame was pretty much a given to be cancelled aince the report day was moves back until one week before the game. Can’t play a game one week after camp starts.

On the plus side, Atwater and Manning will go in together next year.

I would hope they would have 2 ceremonies. One for the 2020 class and one for the 2021 class. That also allows additional ticket sales to help increase revenue for the the league.

1) will they play?
2) the entire Offense, including the new OC
3) the health of coaches and players

My three biggest concerns:

1. @Draft Crazy will start early threads for the 2021 and 2022 drafts. Zzzzzzzzz.
2. Mingo will win every single POTM award for the foreseeable future, as he seems to have found his groove.
3. @SpringStein will defect to Russia and leave us with a giant hole of knowledge and fandom.

Other than those, I hope our O-line can really gel and get those offensive weapons in a position to really produce!

IMO this is too high for us................
