Can Newton has Belichick. Brady doesn’t. Cam wins more games, Brady looks completely lost
Having a good coach helps but having one of the easiest divisions in the league helps even more. I would bet on Cam (assuming he’s plays the whole year).

I'm not making any 'easy/tough division' comparisons here. Bills could be really good and Carolina might be terrible for all we know.

The answer is to this specific question clearly Cam, though. I think Cam fits the Patriots system better than Brady fits the Bucs system. Brady also kinda fell apart down the stretch last year.

But there is also a much larger possibility that Cam doesn't start many games. Any Rams fan will tell you that Josh McDaniels, a lack of weapons, and an injury prone QB can totally blow up.

So...push. Gut says to go with the Patriots, though. Cam could get healthy. But at the same time, there is a reason that no one was going after Cam in the offseason and everyone was going after Brady. Cam might just be broken atm.

Funny thing you say that, Belichick has a losing record vs the AFCE w/o Brady

I bet yer wrong! I already looked up the 2000, 2008 and 2016 seasons. If I can add correctly, which at the moment is questionable as I am severly unsober, the numbers say otherwise. I really need something to drink.

Let's bet !! BB is 1 game below .500 as NE HC w/o Brady and I believe 6-9 vs AFCE lets check the stats

Told you I wasn't sober. Instead of looking up the 2000 season I mistakenly looked up 2001. Big difference. My bad.

Cam would play much better if the Patriots adapt their uniform to his clothing line... just saying.

That means for the Bucs it's now the Ugg life.

What was the makeup of the division at the time? I would bet the Jets are diminished, Dolphins are much worse, and the Bills are better. Still, the overall talent is good especially on defense.

Miami gives them the hardest time, esp at South Beach even lately . BB had a losing record against NY, Miami and 4-3 vs Buffalo while Brady I believe is 30-3 against them and of course winning record against the others. NY was actually decent in late 2000's with Rex,going to the AFCG twice

If they’re still good on defense, the makeup of the team is fairly close to the Panthers during their run assuming they play power football on offense.

Is it odd that only one division has the second place team with a record of less than .500?

Real weak showing by the AFCE this decade, they took over for the AFCS
