I just did a binge of all of them up to Quantum of Solice a few months back. They kinda blend together, but here is what I got, off the top of my head...

1) On Her Majesties Secret Service. Probably the most important film, as far as the continuity goes. It adds a depth, AND a shallowness to Bond based his loss in this movie. Lazenby was a very good Bond as well. He was hated just because he wasn’t Connery.

2) Goldfinger. There are some plot holes, but nothing too major. Probably the best story of all the Bond flicks. Definitely the best henchman in all the movies.

3) Casino Royale (2006). As a whole, I really like the Craig movies. The stories are more complete and faster paced than the older ones. My main complaint about this one, though, is the actual poker being played. It is soooo cliche to have a major, 4-way bad beat in the last hand of the tourney. And everyone slow-rolled their hand. I understand that poker is almost never portrayed well in movies (Rounders is the lone exception), but poker was such a major part of the movie, they really should have tried to do it better. I also am not a fan of the fact that they kept Dench. She is GREAT as M, truly. But it really confuses the continuity by keeping her around.

4) Goldeneye. Definitely the best of Brosnan. First female Bond villain. First non-Bond 00 we get to actually meet. A good universe-building movie.

5) Skyfall. I haven’t seen this one since the theaters, so I am kinda going off reputation here. But I do remember really liking it. Certainly top 5 theme song.

Worst one, hands down (excluding the original Casino Royale) was Live and Let Die. Possibly the BEST theme song of the bunch, but the song just didn’t fit in a Bond movie. And the whole New Orleans vibe just didn’t fit well, imho.

1. From Russia With Love - My first Connery Bond movie. Classic Cold War stuff and Connery at his best
2. Casino Royale - Daniel Craig did a GREAT job of modernizing the Bond franchise
3. On Her Majesty's Secret Service - The first attempt at showing the dark side of Bond
4. Live and Let Die - The best Roger Moore Bond film.
5. Goldfinger - Great bad guy. Great story. The girl of gold was a great iconic scene.

Strong list. I wouldn't put From Russia with Love so high, and possibly take it off the list, and replace it with Dr. No, or possibly The Spy Who Loved Me.

How is the worst Bond film of all-time, the best Roger Moore film?

I'm not really a Bond fan but Skyfall and Goldfinger are the two the stand out the most.

I blame Jason Bourne and the tail end of the Brosnan era for derailing (hopefully temporarily) the Bond franchise. Casino Royale was good but all of the other Daniel Craig ones just don't feel like James Bond movies. They have the same characters but don't have the soul.

With that said I think GNGs list is pretty solid.

1. Goldfinger
2. Casino Royale with Daniel Craig (not David Niven)
3. From Russia with Love just what killer spies were licensed for
4. Skyfall
5. Never Say Never which is the remake of Thunderball because the Broccolis forgot to copyright it or something and Sean Connery bought it and made the movie to show how James Bond could be again. I still quote him with
"I must eliminate all free radicals" which he tells moneypenny after he has been ordered to take a holiday and go to a health club. Also the title is because Sean Connery had said he would NEVER play James Bond when he left the franchise. it is a play on him saying NEVER say NEVER

Best Theme Song - Goldfinger

Best Opening Scene
Casino Royale with Daniel Craig with the chase of the bomber.

Worst

1. Moonraker OMG for me that one was the worst
2. Thunderball
3. On Her Majesty's Secret Service only redeeming quality was Diana Rigg from the Avengers was in it

None of the Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, or Pierce Brosnan left an indelible mark on me.
