creed seemed to take a step back last season. was he hurt or banged up? He obviously still deserves to be on the 1st team btw.
I agree that Coburn should have made it as well. Tim Crowder did a Q & A last week and said that he told Coburn he needed to get into the 315 range to play all three downs instead of being a two down specialist. He said he's losing weight.

Creed was the only returning starter and was flanked by two brand new guards. Not surprised he took a step back. Should be better this season but we’re praying Wilkins is the guy we think he is cause Swenson can’t handle that LT spot.

Coburn was a stud last year in the middle. You have watch games to see the work a NG does in a 3 man front. It is not a position that is predisposed to collect stats.

I saw that. He is right that the DL is going to have to have a mentality change. Going from more of a read technique to attacking gaps. Outside the Still brothers, I take Texas interior DL over anyone in the league.

I'm excited to see the pairing of Coburn and Ojomo/Sweat in the interior. Especially with Sweat, even though I think Sweat spells Coburn more than actually lines next to him. What a solid eval from the Texas staff in Sweat. While the base was crying about losing Leal to aggy, Sweat is showing some real promise as a DT/NG

Not a damn bit of difference between west Oklahoma and the Texas panhandle.
How about that slight correction? Contrary to perception, there is a lot of difference in Midland-Odessa and Amarillo IMO.

True. Amarillo at least has plumb thickets.

Now that I think about it, Palo Duro Canyon and Boquillas Canyon are similar. But the stuff in between them is different.

Palo Duro Canyon is the anomaly in the panhandle. And Santa Elena and Boquillas canyon are anomalies for West Texas. But most of the eastern Texas panhandle looks like western Oklahoma.

Maybe not exactly but we do have our own beautiful landscapes depending on where you are in the state.

Where in the hell is this one...and what is the elevation? Similar to El Capitan with the exception of color.

Some awesome pics posted in this thread.

That second one is in southeast Oklahoma part of the Talamina drive. Absolutely heartbreakingly beautiful country most people would have no clue was part of Oklahoma.

I was wondering where that was. Good thing they have some beauty over there because from my experience they have some people that make the ones from the movie Deliverance look normal.

You are not wrong. Not a good idea to go wandering through the woods.

McCutchin is the perfect sooner.. he's on twitter bashing Texas.. you can tell he's very extra since he lives here in Austin. He gives me Leon Oneal vibes.

he'll be in the portal before we all know it.
