This is fantastic news.

Also Adam Schefter is such a clown. Why does he still represent the Chiefs?

And the Cowboys just blocked all known contact numbers for Dak.

Honestly, my guess is Mahomes took less than people think. This is going to be a Brady type contract aimed at keeping the nucleus together and winning. Mahomes is going to make a mint off of sponsorships and other revenue, he is the new face of the sport.

The Chiefs have to be in cap hell after this. Pretty sure this'll mean the end for people like Chris Jones, Kelce, and Hill.

The contract is so long Mahomes might not even finish the new contract in a Chiefs uniform, without switching franchises...

Even if he gave them a hell of a discount(say 10 years/$200 million) they are still in trouble, teams can barely afford the $130-150 million deals now.

If it takes place after the rookie deal, not necessarily. Jones maybe, but you can trade a guy like that for a 1st round pick, maybe two of them.

20 million dollars a year for the best quarterback in the league? He's going to make a lot more than that

Fantastic news. Cowboys have the "top dollar" number basically in hand prior to July 15th. Could not have scripted that better.
Now we wait and see what Dak's camp will shoot for.

I hope you're right. Would set up the Chiefs nicely for future success.
