As the bubble city, does Winnipeg have enough hotels to host 9 cfl teams ?

Edmonton Empire makes sense as opposing fans call them the Evil Empire - They can keep the double 'E' on their helmets as well.

has to be.

RiderNation takes over every away game, and every Grey Cup anyway.

farhan in the cesspool on july 4 made it sound like winnipeg was a done deal :noidea:

To be fair to Farhan, I think Ambrosie has dropped the ball big time during this pandemic. Very little communication and not informing the players about any new developments etc. No real plan or decision making, I think he's just hoping that the federal government will provide some financial aid. How about a CFL lottery to help out the league, you create some attractive ticket packages and I think you could easily raise between 20 to 30 million dollars. If you then ask the feds for another $20 million to cover player's salaries etc., this would likely be a done deal.

It just requires a little creative thinking and I'm not seeing it from the commish.

that might be a good idea. League wide 50/50 run through the provincial lottery corps :noidea: maybe you get the idea off the ground with trudeau if WE! also gets some of the funds raised :thumb:
