Never really understood the infatuation over Kendrick. Just a slight notch above Kristen Stewart IMO. Kendrick has a better sense of humor, but its more of a shtick than who she really is.

The Mountain Between Us (2017)
Was hoping for more of a survival thriller, and for the most part it was... But it frustratingly devolved into a romance movie. Not my cup of tea, but pretty decent movie. Good acting and realistic sequence of events. 6/10

American Renegades (2017)
Pretty cool action/adventure/war/heist film. Didn't really have the gritty realism factor I was looking for but not a bad watch. Treasure-hunting films are always fun. The acting was pretty blah, and it didn't really have much excitement or drama to it. 5/10

The Dirt, 2019 Netflix movie about Motley Crue. True story, acting wasn't very good. Shows the debauchery of sex, drugs, rock and roll. Post movie photos show that certain things actuall took place. 4/10

I think they're trying way harder with Stewart. Charlie's Angels, Underwater... Just a few of the recent ones they had her parading around showing skin.

watched Logan again last night. I still don't think it is worth the praise it got. It isn't bad and I would even say it was a step in the right direction, but it was ultimately a missed opportunity to me as well as having some flaws in the writing.

I think it would do a 6.5-7/10

Unplanned.

This is the one about the woman who quit Planned Parenthood over abortions.

It was kind of one sided. Planned Parenthood was depicted as the Devil Incarnate. There were a few graphic scenes. Other than those, it was more like a Hallmark Movie.

Not sure if this would change anyone's mind.

This is my sisters favorite movie ever. She is a one-issue voter and this topic is her life’s mission.

I tend to fall on that side of the issue, but I hate preach movies (in either direction) so I refuse to watch this movie, no matter how often she tries to get me to watch it. She insists it is not a preachy movie, though. LOL

Saw Jumanji 2.

I wasn't prepared for how lazy this movie was. It's like watching Whose Line Is It Anyways for two hours as they do variations on the same skit except no one can do a Danny Devito impression.

It's a boring retread that goes through plot points like a checklist. Jack Black and Kevin Hart are funny in this but everyone else feels wasted.

I know I'm never going back to Jumanji.

Just watched Spenser Confidential. It’s one of those that it really has no rewatch value. It’s been done plenty of times before. Not horrible but definitely skip able.

Saw Spider-Man Homecoming.

Plays out like a phase 1 MCU movie that is focused on trying to be as believable as possible and keeping the stakes very low. As such, it does give you less Spider-Man than other movies and I'm left wanting more. The boat scene steals the show so just like Into the Spiderverse the movie peaks in the middle, imo. Spiderverse tried too hard, Homecoming not enough...PS4 game is just right. For my tastes anyways.

It's hard to fault much with Homecoming, though. It's a good script. It's just not a good action movie.
