I just know you take Burris no matter what, he's good homie

Absolutely. Burris is a less polished but slightly higher ceiling version of Collins. Looking more and more like he and Gilliam will end up in Norman and Coe will likely be encouraged to look elsewhere. Imo though, you take him since we won’t take a TE/H-Back this cycle and work the numbers out later. If Grinch is going to run a little lighter at the 0-3 tech spots, you better be able to rotate 6 high quality players out all game long if you’re going to go toe to toe in the CFP.

Are y'all out of the Shemar Turner sweepstakes? I have him rated higher than Burris and Tunmise

Turner is a pipe dream. We’ll keep pushing but guaranteed they’d take Burris and Gilliam and be done and be happy with that and focus their efforts elsewhere.

starting to feel like a pipe dream for Texas.. seems Bama is really pushing hard.. and word is that Tunmise will be visiting schools once it's clear.. and he's looking closer home

OU's development of talent allows them to take 3's and 4's and compete.*

*unless its a CFP/BCS game

little leary given he has Jackson with him and can disappear. He seems a lot more TQ Graham, than Collins or Broughton (since you are Texas fan)

And that's fair.. Did you see Jordon Thomas clips from last week.. he seems like he can slide inside as well after a full year in the S&C program. I also thought Harris flashed playing DE in those clips.

Always thought Thomas was likely going inside to 3 tech and Harris to DE. Really like Blackwell and Cooks at ILB, though loved Jones’s tape (ILB from La).

Yeah I was kinda shocked when Jaydon committed to ASU then we got Blackwell out of the blue. If Thomas indeed moves inside like Shemar would if he picked UT.. makes missing on Smith that much more frustrating. Don't get me wrong we have the best Edge Rusher in the state in Sanders but Smith would have been a great on the opposite end

Smith was a good get for OU. Sanders and him would have had killer potential, though kind of the same position. I worry more about players being impact players, than where they fit in. You never know how they take to a training table and a legit S&C program.
