Thank you Pete Hailey. Tbh, that burned me up with the national writers saying the Skins have given no weapons for Haskins - and they're setting him up for failure. Let's at least not write off AG and AGG before they've even gone to practice. Yeah, we need to get an all-around TE, and it'd be nice to add a star WR, but I have no doubt that we have some offensive talent that's going to shine this season.
I'm looking forward to seeing how his mobility increases and if that allows him to extend more plays and be more of a play-maker.
His mobility was better than advertised, but obviously more mobility would be better and could make him a significantly more effective QB. That extra mobility helps set apart players like Mahomes and Rodgers.
I've heard lots of people compare him to Roethlesberger, and I don't get it. Haskins has above-average size, but he's nowhere near as big and strong. Big Ben was also very mobile for his size and was great at extending plays for the majority of his career when healthy. No matter what "mold" of QB you are in today's game, mobility is extremely important, and an extra bit of it can make a huge difference.
