yeah I forgot the McRib..that was my guilty pleasure with a Dr Pepper
Back in the day when I could eat whatever the hell my heart desired, a large vanilla shake and two extra large order of McD's fries did me good. Also, Jack in the Box tacos were the ticket when the munchies set in.

When I was traveling, a double quarter pounder, large fries, and a Dr Pepper was the ticket.

I'd p

I'd put Cristobal ahead of Shaw. It's a pretty weak lineup when Herm Edwards is the 4th best coach in the league.

Herm made the best hire in taking Antonio Pearce.. guy is a WITCH..without the bags too

USC gets commitment from 4* WR Michael Jackson

So the fight for second in the PAC is a race or does Oregon have that locked up?

It would be wise to see if USCs coach even survives the season before anointing yourselves.

If Helton would to get fired Idoubt that would impact recruiting in a negative way. The new assistants and the OC are the reason it picked up and looks like a normal USC class.

So they just need to make sure they fire him at the right time.

Maybe a year too early instead of a year too late?

You just can't comprehend the way this meat head screwed up at Texas for 2019. Good DCs put players in position attributing to their skills/strengths... Not this asshole, he believed in his system more than the players.. if you can't get a rush, why would you then do a delayed blitz from 10 yards out?
He had great success when he had LBs that were great. in 2017 he had Malik Jefferson, 2018 he had Gary Johnson.. but in 2019 he had young players but acted like they were Jefferson and Johnson.. So he uses our best Rusher and drops him into coverage just so he can delay blitz from the secondary..
I'm still pissed at that jackass./end of rant

Adapting your system/plays based upon the skills of your individual players is too uncommon a skill amongst coaches/coordinators.

You sound like many USC fans when we had Justin Wilcox as DC. He worked in other places but what ever he was doing here didn't . All we can ask for is that Orlando has learned from experience. The problem with Pentergrast is that he didn't learn and evolve with what other teams were doing.

It sounds good on paper but this isn't the NFL where you have some level of consistency. You might only have these really good players for two seasons. First year they are learning the system and soph and Jr years they ball out. How much can you change when they will be gone and someone with a different skill set will be there next season. You can't totally change things year to year. I understand what you're saying but I imagine it's not that easy. Coaches have their philosophy and they want to keep it as much as possible.
As fans we can see the results and its easy for us to bitch. With Pentergast I think he just stuck to what he knew without slowly evolving with the new offenses.

Another drawback is recruiting.. he was in charge of LB and he offered a lot of players late. Now I do give him some slack.. he recruited a stud out of CA DeGabriel Floyd, however he had to medically retired because of a disc condition. He never was able to suit up at all. But overall he sucks. Hopefully another coach can pick it up for that position group.

As a Texas fan, TH hired the LB who was at the other SC, and he has done well much earlier on the trail. My best outlook would be for Orlando to have a terrific season in year 1 then go be a HC at Arkansas St or something.

I'll be interested in seeing how the overall health of the defense goes.. Last season we were devastated. Seems like the players loved to hit, but using it's shoulders.

I hear you. USC lost like every DB last season and was playing kids that were supposed to redshirt
